The Annie's Project program in North Dakota has been running for 8 years, educating over 1000 women on topics related to farming and financial management. The program consists of 18-21 interactive video sessions held across the state each winter, with local presenters and class sizes of 8-25 women. Participants learn about human resources, finances, record keeping, marketing, and developing business plans. The program aims to provide a safe, supportive environment for women of all backgrounds involved in farming. Evaluations show it has been very positively received by participants who feel more empowered and able to contribute to decision making on their farms.
