3. Inspiring Photos
God, I love Cate Blanchett
I like this picture because it
expresses two of the strongest
emotion, thrilled and miserable. The
actress has put a lot of effort into
creating the most express emotion
which makes it look over
exaggerated and comical. Leibovitz
has made this black and white to
keep the viewers attention on the
expression and not the different
colours used. This may also be to
blend the two photos together well.
4. Inspiring Photos
I think this picture represents how this women has grown up being
the centre of attention, dominating everything else. However this
actually looks like a young girl’s head on an adult’s body. This could
represent girls wanting to be older and attractive, but finds she
doesn’t actually like it. Her being sad looking cramped and
awkward. In my opinion this may have been taken from Alice in
wonderland.
5. Inspiring Photos
I think this picture is exploiting women, showing how dirty
and seductive they are. A women is shown in lying in a dirty
bath with tattoos over her back. The background uses cold
colours like blue and turquoise but the women is orange and
yellow which are referred to as warm colours. The picture is
very dark and evil but could also be seen as naughty.
6. Inspiring Photos
I think this picture was taken to represent the strength and
independence of women. It is a picture of a strong women
pulling something behind her. This picture supports women
showing that women can do just as much as men.
