Weekend George and Lenore live together with a baby boy and a 5 year old girl, Maria. George always invite his ex-students to stay for the weekend Lenore overheard george calling her “simple” to one of her guests.
Weekend George usually takes “hikes” with the girls he invites to stay for the weekend. The girls’ friends usually stay at the house and play with children and help with dinner. One man asks Lenore how she lets George take these hikes.
Weekend Julie and Sarah come to visit george for the weekend George and Sarah go for a “Hike” while Julie and Lenore stay home, then it starts to rain. Julie takes Lenore’s car to search for them and returns unsuccessful. Julie is alarmed that Lenore is not worried.
Weekend When George and Sarah return, they claim to have just sat at a restaurant while they waited for the rain to pass, then hitch-hiked home. The rest of the day they spent in the house talking next to the fire and eating dinner. That evening George and Sarah go back outside in the rain while Lenore goes upstairs to put the child to bed.
Weekend While George and Sarah are outside Julie and Lenore talk about what they could be doing. Lenore doesn’t like to think about it.
Weekend George and Sarah return to the house drunk and hanging on eachother. George tells Lenore and Julie, “Speak no evil, Hear no evil” as he hugs Sarah and claims that he is in love with her. Sarah takes off running upstairs and starts to cry.
Weekend Lenore tends to the baby that woke up because of Sarah’s crying, then continues to bed herself. Julie informs Lenore that her and Sarah are leaving and they do so. Lenore can’t sleep so she goes downstairs where George is obviously disgruntled about Sarah not letting him have his way with her.
Weekend Lenore lays her head on George’s shoulder and they remain sitting together in silence.
