And so he leaves pency hating most.( if not all or the people there) He can not go home because he doesn’t want to tell his parents that he kicked.
- 12. Then hegoes to New York and meats an old girlfriend but scares her with his plans of running away. Finally he goes home but sneak into see his sister. Unfortunately he can’t stay long and goes to visit an older teacher of his. When holden meet his teacher and asked him what he want to be when grows up. Holden says he want to watch children play in a field of ray and catch them if the fall off the edge or the field. Then he think about running away but want to see his sister one more time.
- 13. They spendthe day together and as she is riding the carousel he decides not to run away. “The catcher in the ray” has a bad reputation in the literary world, but it really isn’t so bad. Holden opinions of the world are honest but can be little burdening at times.
