This document provides steps to remove white backgrounds from images using Adobe Photoshop. The key steps are to use the magic wand tool to select the white portions, invert the selection, expand and smooth the selection, copy it to a new layer, hide the original layer, crop the image, and save it as a PNG file.

1. Take away white boxes from pictures

2. Go to folder containing
image

3. Click on file

4. Click on Open with

5. Adobe Photoshop screen

6. Click on magic wand icon

7. Click on white portions of

8. Press shift-alt-i

9. Correct portions of image

10. Click on
Select - Modify - Expand

11. Type in 3 and click OK

19. Right-Click on selection
Click on Layer via Copy

21. First image now not visible

22. Select Crop tool

23. Resize crop selection and
press “Enter”

25. Select Save As

26. Save new image as png

27. Click save

28. Select “none” and click OK

29. PNG image saved in folder

30. Click “insert Picture”
