receivedanA.The emphasisof thistrainingisusingmulti-sensorymethodsforteachingreadingand
spellingtostudentswhopossesslanguage-basedlearningdisabilities.Also,duringthe 2014-2015 school
year,Anncompleteda100-hour practicum, whichincludedasupervisedinternshipandanadditional 30
hoursof classwork.
As herprimaryinstructorand supervisor,Iobservedherabilityto grow professionallyandtobecome a
diagnosticandprescriptive teacher.Ann’scommandof the structure of language andhergoal-oriented
teachingenabledhertodevelopwell-constructedlessonplansthatwere carefullydesignedtomeetthe
individualneedsof eachof herstudents.These lessonsincludedphonemicawarenesspractice,decoding
instruction,aswell as,vocabularydevelopmentandcomprehensionexercises.Also,she usedher
creative talentstoenhance herlessonswithactivitiesandvisualsthat allowedherstudentstomaximize
theirvisual,auditory,andkinestheticlearning.
One of Ann’smainstrengthsisthe strongconnectionshe makeswitheachof herpupils.She isa
