Our target audience is teenagers who enjoy psychological thrillers and the feelings of adrenaline and suspense they provide. While thrillers typically attract a male audience, our film features a female protagonist to allow female viewers to relate to her innocence and feel empathy. We chose a psychological thriller to appeal to a wider audience than just males. A female audience will also be attracted by the location settings and the depiction of the main character dealing with schizophrenia, feeling sympathy for her struggles.

But we found out the a female audience would also feel attracted by the use of location and the fact that the character has schizophrenia they would feel sympathy towards her.

UNIQUE SELLING POINT Thriller is the most common genre and its audience is extremely wide as films of a thriller genre include elements such as Mystery, Drama, murder, Adrenaline rush and anxiety. People enjoy the feeling of suspense and tension building and I believe our film consists of a variety of those key elements such as our main characters mental instability, suspense from the unknown threatening letter and the spooky feeling of knowing she is being hated on. These are just a few things that keep our audience on edge.
