Project Description:
In This project SWR support the single controller SATA on the Grantley platform OEM .In general
AHCI offers a choice for Host based vendor specific RAID solutions. Software RAID is one such
solution running on AHCI controller. AHCI controller will be projected as PCI device so
communication to AHCI controller and associated PD’s will be done via PCI configuration space.
This testing involves various RAID levels on various OS platforms to enhance the system efficiency and
data security.

In This project HWR support 12G invader SAS controller , Invader is 12G solution provided by LSI to
market for OEM and server vendors looking to build enterprises class data protection and throughput
into their entry to mid-range server .

3. Responsibilities in all the above projects:
• Making the physical setup for testing.
• Install all flavours of Linux and Windows Operating system to test the Software RAID drivers.
• Perform disk specific testing like SAS, SATA and SSD compatibilities.
• Configure BIOS setup, RAID Configuration Utility, and the disk management features
• Involved in Write test cases for different test scenarios.
• Perform the Manual Testing for Firmware, driver and Raid management utilities.
• Perform flashing the BIOS and Op-ROM provided by OEM’s.
