Ancient Egypt
Ancient Egypt is the format (the way) they say
‘Old Egypt’, meaning all the old sacrifices they
had made ready for their future, now the country
is highly famous for its weather and long history.
Now, the country does not have a normal way of writing and learning words,
nor writing numbers, they didn’t even have a 0 for a long time of period (long
space of time). There was a lot of things and impacts that was needed in Egypt
but those impacts had never really taken place, until the true meaning of the
‘River Nile’ was found, people lived very hardly for food and water.
Fun Fact: The Greeks and Romans have taken over Egypt before.

Ancient Egypt Reigning
If you’re a King or a Queen, you will obviously
have to reign your country or area and that’s why
there was Pharaoh’s like ‘Tutankhamun’ who we
will see later or ‘Cleopatra’ who we will also visit
too.
If you’re wondering, ‘What will happen if one of those two would die?,’ well
sadly, like everyone else, they would be buried in a tomb but before they got
into the tomb they would be mummified with their lungs, stomach, intestines
and lastly their livers. You can see further on, the process was not free and only
happened when you was able to afford with the big wage of cash (big amount
of money.)
Fun Fact: The Egyptians mummified cats thinking the cats are sacred.
CONTEN
T
Ancient Egypt Sarcophagus/Tomb
If you’re a King or a Queen, you have to die
soon. So since you are a very royal person to all
your community that you served, you are always
held a very special funeral.
You have 4 jars who are the examples of the 4 sons of Horus. (Horus is a old
God in Egypt’s culture.) Each jar holds something, read what each holds!
Hapy – Holds the lungs
Imsety – Holds the livers
Duamutef – Holds the stomach
Qebehsenuef – Holds the intestines
Fun Fact: The picture above is of Cleopatra II.
CONTEN

Ancient Egypt Gods
There is over 2,000 Gods for the Egyptian who
had been blessing towards them. The next
paragraph will name some of the important
Gods that the Egyptians had found sacred.
Ra – The God of the sun
Amun – The God of the air
Horus – The God of the sky
Osiris – The God of the underworld
Anubis – The God of death
Fun Fact: Amun is invisible.
CONTEN
T
THINK: Do you know any
other Egyptian Gods?
Ancient Egypt Life
The Egyptians lived a hard life, even getting food
was hard, they had to do a lot also just for their
importance to show to their own King or Queen.
They had to get food and water for them
everyday!
They believed putting kindness for them would have a comeback that would be
a good use for them. Thinking that it would help them. So they believed in
doing this. Kids who was 5-13 would even help out. If you was older you might
of usually done farming. It is very hard to visit a Egyptian King or Queen. Life in
Egypt wasn’t as easy for everyone. In the buildings there would be very high
roles that people would have so being a low role made less chance to meet the
Kings or Queens.
Fun Fact: Many Egyptians farmed.
CONTEN
T
Ancient Egypt Hieroglyphics
Writing in Egypt isn’t normal or like how we
write today, it is a different style which is pictures
making words, the language’s name is called
‘Hieroglyphics.’ This is important for the
Egyptians.
Hieroglyphics is very important, it is written usually on paper made from
papyrus so only some people from ‘scribes’ (Scribes are a study group in Egypt
which cost to learn how to write and read.) which made them very important.
Many Egyptian kids would skip class, finding it very boring. If you go to any
major King or Queen’s tomb/chamber room you might be able to see
hieroglyphics on the wall, telling you all about the person who had died. It is
very hard to see though.
Fun Fact: Hieroglyphics is able to translate into 3 different languages.
CONTEN
T
THINK: Did you know
this at all?
Ancient Egypt Numerals
Not only did they have hieroglyphics but they
also had pictures that also represented numbers
just like the Romans! Which makes them stand
out, you see again they didn’t even have 0 until
3000 BC!
Read the numbers:
Fun Fact: Romans also don’t have 0.
CONTEN
T
THINK: What number
did you think these
represented?
Ancient Egypt River Nile
The river Nile is a river that flows through many
countries including Egypt. The Nile is around
660km long and is still being fought of if the
river Amazon is longer then the Nile!
The Nile was first not used until people found out it was like ‘The Gift Of Egypt’
having the Nile. Then they found out they could use it for: Transportation,
Food, Water, Bathing, Using Floods For Crops and for growing paper with
papyrus or growing the material from the linen plant. (Linen is the clothing
Egyptians used from the plants.) Due to the impacts they found, more people
started moving to the Nile thinking about how much impacts they could have
living there.
Fun Fact: The Nile is the longest river in the planet. (2023)

Ancient Egypt Map
Egypt is a country that is bordered by Libya,
Sudan, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Egypt actually
has no north border countries due to the
Mediterranean sea being on top of Egypt.
The border countries barely really communicated with Egypt in the ancient time
yet so to focus on their selves. Egypt is covered in pyramids that all used to
belong to the King’s and Queen’s burial. As soon the Greeks and the Romans
came there was barely anything ancient left. Then both left when the Arabians
came to discover the country, currently the country is under control by Arabs, it
is now known as a ‘Muslim Country.’
Fun Fact: Egypt has the Sahara desert. (2023)
CONTEN
T
Ancient Egypt King’s And Queen’s
This is finally at it’s point, the pharaohs. You see,
the Egyptians had Cleopatra II who was a
princess when she was born and she had been in
love with her 2 brothers.
Tutankhamun was a king, he was a king who reigned at 9 with support from his
aunt and he managed to rule until age 18, so most people call him the ‘Young
Master’ for reigning young and dying young. The person who opened
Tutankhamun’s tomb was told that he was found dead, his cat died and the
lights went out everywhere that day. Soon it was revealed that there was tons
of gold and jewellery in there.
Fun Fact: Tutankhamun was famous for the tomb incident only.
