 When describing movement of joints in
relation to the rest of the body we must first
consider the body to be in the anatomical
position.
 This is a baseline position.

 Anatomical Position –
 Body standing erect
 Eyes straight ahead
 Feet together
 Arms by side
 Palms facing forward
