Men and women have declared a cease-fire in the war that raged between the sexes through much of the last half of this century. In its place, they face common new enemies -- the stress, lack of time and financial pressure of modern life.
A new national survey has found that after nearly a generation of sharing the workplace and renegotiating domestic duties, most men and women agree that increased gender equity has enriched both sexes. But both also believe that the strains of this relatively new world have made building successful marriages, raising children and leading satisfying lives ever more difficult....
Surprisingly, although men and women agreed they should have equal work opportunities, and men said they approved of women working outside the home, large majorities of both said it would be better if women could instead stay home and just take care of the house and children....
Most men in the polls said they were happy to share child care and domestic chores with wives who work outside the home. Yet household duties remain sharply divided along gender lines. Working mothers still do twice as much housework as their husbands, and more than half of all women questioned expressed at least some dissatisfaction with the amount of help their husbands provide around the house....
But rather than emphasizing their differences and blaming many of life's problems on each other, men and women share a sense of conflict and confusion about how to make it all work under today's pressures. To a large extent, the politics of resentment have become the politics of fatigue....
In important ways, the survey suggests that we have yet to find new patterns of living that recognize the real workloads of two-career couples with children, and some resentment, nostalgia and fatigue are reflected in the survey results....

From time immemorial, every society has had a ruling class that comprises of the majority members of a particular race. Conversely, there is also the minority group that is most disadvantaged in the community. In the United States, superiority and inferiority is not a new topic. This is because it has lingered on from the colonial era, before independence. Fortunately, oppression of the minority has declined over time with every individual black or white having equal rights.
Max Weber came up with a three-component stratification theory. He argues that class,status and power were factors that socially differentiated people within the same community. Women were despised and discriminate as incapable of being productive in formal employment. Therefore, they had no class, or power in the eyes of the white community. Additionally, they had no right to voice their opinion in public. However, if women were not socially discriminated and given equal opportunities in the employment sector that men had in the colonial era would America be more developed than it is today? The black woman was the most vulnerable to gender discrimination and oppression. There are two categories of the black woman. The first is the ‘welfare mother’ who is responsible for drawing the moral capital affiliated with the American mother. The second is the ‘welfare queen’ whose drive in life is material possession and is characterized by being a working class. The welfare queen, which consisted of working class Black women, was seen as a threat to the state’s economy (p. 251). This means that America had socially undermined the capability of Black women by judging them with the color of their skin.
Another category of the Black women emerged, the “Black lady”. This lady represented the Black women that worked hard in school to climb the social and class ladder. However, the society saw it differently. Instead, it linked the Black lady to a classy version of mammies who work twice as harder than the rest of the people. Additionally, it also was linked to matriarchy thesis-Black ladies working hard and forgets to be feminine especially due to their assertive nature. Black men felt threatened by the Black lady mainly because they felt that jobs were reserved for them and not the women. Matriarch black women were named ‘Jezebel’ due to their controlling nature. As if not enough, they were labeled as ‘whores’ and ‘hoochies’ due to the sexual appetite and aggressiveness (p. 252). Nevertheless, as much as the Black women tried their best to fit in the White community by working harder, the society was not so welcoming.

Men and women have declared a cease-fire in the war that raged between the sexes through much of the last half of this century. In its place, they face common new enemies -- the stress, lack of time and financial pressure of modern life.
A new national survey has found that after nearly a generation of sharing the workplace and renegotiating domestic duties, most men and women agree that increased gender equity has enriched both sexes. But both also believe that the strains of this relatively new world have made building successful marriages, raising children and leading satisfying lives ever more difficult....
Surprisingly, although men and women agreed they should have equal work opportunities, and men said they approved of women working outside the home, large majorities of both said it would be better if women could instead stay home and just take care of the house and children....
Most men in the polls said they were happy to share child care and domestic chores with wives who work outside the home. Yet household duties remain sharply divided along gender lines. Working mothers still do twice as much housework as their husbands, and more than half of all women questioned expressed at least some dissatisfaction with the amount of help their husbands provide around the house....
But rather than emphasizing their differences and blaming many of life's problems on each other, men and women share a sense of conflict and confusion about how to make it all work under today's pressures. To a large extent, the politics of resentment have become the politics of fatigue....

From time immemorial, every society has had a ruling class that comprises of the majority members of a particular race. Conversely, there is also the minority group that is most disadvantaged in the community. In the United States, superiority and inferiority is not a new topic. This is because it has lingered on from the colonial era, before independence. Fortunately, oppression of the minority has declined over time with every individual black or white having equal rights.
Max Weber came up with a three-component stratification theory. He argues that class,status and power were factors that socially differentiated people within the same community. Women were despised and discriminate as incapable of being productive in formal employment. Therefore, they had no class, or power in the eyes of the white community. Additionally, they had no right to voice their opinion in public. However, if women were not socially discriminated and given equal opportunities in the employment sector that men had in the colonial era would America be more developed than it is today? The black woman was the most vulnerable to gender discrimination and oppression. There are two categories of the black woman. The first is the ‘welfare mother’ who is responsible for drawing the moral capital affiliated with the American mother. The second is the ‘welfare queen’ whose drive in life is material possession and is characterized by being a working class. The welfare queen, which consisted of working class Black women, was seen as a threat to the state’s economy (p. 251). This means that America had socially undermined the capability of Black women by judging them with the color of their skin.
Another category of the Black women emerged, the “Black lady”. This lady represented the Black women that worked hard in school to climb the social and class ladder. However, the society saw it differently. Instead, it linked the Black lady to a classy version of mammies who work twice as harder than the rest of the people. Additionally, it also was linked to matriarchy thesis-Black ladies working hard and forgets to be feminine especially due to their assertive nature. Black men felt threatened by the Black lady mainly because they felt that jobs were reserved for them and not the women. Matriarch black women were named ‘Jezebel’ due to their controlling nature. As if not enough, they were labeled as ‘whores’ and ‘hoochies’ due to the sexual appetite and aggressiveness (p. 252). Nevertheless, as much as the Black women tried their best to fit in the White community by working harder, the society was not so welcoming.

Odoo provides an option for creating a module by using a single line command. By using this command the user can make a whole structure of a module. It is very easy for a beginner to make a module. There is no need to make each file manually. This slide will show how to create a module using the scaffold method.
How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the

environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
