Nurses are people who need self assessment to maintain and improve their practice by identifying their strengths and weakness in the areas that may need to be further developed. A non experimental study was conducted to assess the usage of mobile phone and attitude regarding mobile phone usage among B.sc nursing students in selected nursing college in Chennai. A descriptive research design was adapted for the study and 60 B.sc III year students were used selected using purposive sampling technique. semi structure questionnaires is standardized tool was used to assess the mobile phone usage and attitude regarding mobile phone usage B.sc nursing students. Methods: It was a graphic study directed among 100 nursing students aged 19-22 in B.V.V.S. Institute of Nursing Sciences Bagalkot. Information was gathered utilising a structured knowledge questionnaire to survey socio-demographic information. The Stanford Sleepiness Scale (Alertness Test) was utilised to evaluate the classroom alertness of the nursing students and the Cell phone Addiction Scale-Short Version (SAS-SV) was utilised to assess the cell addiction of the nursing students. Results: An association was found between the year of studying and the classroom alertness of students (χ2 =3.9102) p<0.05. There was a significant negative correlation between cell phone addiction and classroom alertness of the nursing students, p<0.05. The r-value obtained was 0.80. Thus, the correlation between the two factors is seen as statistically significant. Conclusion In the wake of acquiring the consequences of the current work the scientist s saw a negati ve relationship between cell

Mobile phones have become an essential part of anyones day to day life since 1990s. As cell phones have become more available, they are increasingly owned and used by college university students as well. Objectives 1. To assess the knowledge of student regarding Health impact of cell phone. 2. To find out association between knowledge level regarding health impact and their Socio demographic variable. Methodology Non experimental descriptive research design was selected for 200 school going children who were belongs age group between 10 18 years studied in selected school, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Simple random sampling technique was used. Results It shows that most of the students were having inadequate knowledge that is 43.611 . Only 18 students having adequate knowledge regarding Health impact of cell phone. A descriptive study to assess the prevalence of nomophobia and knowledge and effect of using smartphone among college students in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, with a View to develop an information booklet was conducted with the objectives To assess the prevalence of nomophobia among college students, to assess the knowledge level regarding smartphone use among college students, to assess effect of using smartphones among college students, to find the association between level of Nomophobia among college students with their selected demographic variables, to find the association between level of knowledge regarding smartphone among college students with their selected demographic variables, to find out the correlation between level of nomophobia and effect of using mobile phone among college students, to find out the correlation between level of knowledge and effect of using mobile phone among college students.Conceptual framework selected for this study is based on health belief model developed by Rosenstock, Becker and Miama in 1988. It is developed to address non compliance with health screening programs, mostly concerning disease prevention. Three key components were identified as influential aspects towards an individual’s likelihood to following health recommendations.An exploratory research approach with descriptive research design was adopted tor the study. Sample size were 250 college students of District Fatehgarh Saheb Punjab. Colleges are selected convenient by lottery method. Data was collected through nomophobia scale, knowledge questionnaire and checklist. Major findings shows that majority 140 56.06 of samples has moderate level of Nomophobia. 203 81.20 of samples have good knowledge level regarding smartphone, 29 11.6 have poor knowledge level. Majority 188 75.29 of samples has moderate level of effect on their life due to smartphone use, 49 19.6 have mild level of effect.There is significant association between level of nomophobia of samples with years of using mobile phone and there is also a significant association between level of nomophobia of samples with their frequent reason of using mobile phone.The association between level of knowledge of samples with their age is significant at 0.05 level of significance and the association between level of knowledge of samples with their educational level is significant at 0.05 level of significance. There is a positive correlation between levels of nomophobia and effects of using smartphone among college students. There is a negative correlation between levels of knowledge and effects of using smartphone among college students.Recommendations were that a similar study can be conducted among students of other stream and with different usage pattern of smartphone. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an information booklet on knowledge of mobile phone addiction, health hazards, and prevention among nursing students. 40 first-year BSc nursing students were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Both groups completed a pre-test questionnaire assessing their knowledge. The experimental group then received the information booklet, while the control group did not. Both groups later completed the same post-test questionnaire. Results showed that knowledge increased significantly more in the experimental group after receiving the booklet. The study concluded that the information booklet was effective at improving students' knowledge on the topics covered.

A non experimental study was conducted to assess the level of knowledge about emergency helpline among B.Sc Nursing I year students at selected college. A descriptive research design was adapted for the study and 95 B.Sc. Nursing I year students were selected using convenience sampling technique. A self structured knowledge questionnaire tools was used to assess the level of knowledge about emergency helpline among the B.sc nursing 1 year students for the duration of 15 30 minutes the study finding showed 82.1 of students were have inadequate knowledge and 17.9 students have adequate knowledge on national emergency helpline numbers. Smartphone Uses and its Effects on Health of Adolescents
Smartphone usage has been increased dramatically which helps in easy communication but in another side it also affect the health of users if not used in healthy way. Aims The aim of the study was to assess the uses of smartphone by adolescents and its effects on their health. Setting and design Study was conducted in a private school of Doiwala, Dehradun and the design was descriptive survey design. Methodology 154 adolescents 11th and 12th class were selected through purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by administering questionnaire to the participants. Tool consist baseline data, rating scale for uses of smartphone and self reported checklist to assess health effects. Statistical analysis The data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics such as frequency, percentage distribution and chi square. Results The result shows that 11 adolescents were excessive users of smartphone. 81.3 adolescents uses their smartphone for approx one to four hours daily. More than half adolescents were using internet, among them around 24.5 adolescents had their account on social media. Regarding effect on health, most common complaint was headache 61 followed by eye discomforts 44 , neck pain 43 , and wrist pain 41.6 . Conclusion Study concludes that use of smartphone affects health of adolescents and also has an impact on their study and physical activities so adolescents should be encouraged for healthy use of smartphone to gain maximum benefits of gadget. becomes an integral part of their lives. This research studied the impact of mobile phone use on the academic
performance of secondary school students in the Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh. The study adopted a
descriptive survey research method with a sample size of 40 students from 4 selected schools, each contributing 5
boys and 5 girls by using stratified random sampling technique. A self-constructed scale with four points, referred to
as a Likert-type scale, entitled "Mobile Phone and Students’ Academic Performance of Secondary School
questionnaire, was employed in order to evaluate the utilization of mobile phones as well as the students’ academic
performance of secondary schools. The study's results showed significant impacts of mobile phone use on the
academic performance of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. It pointed out the negative effects of their usage,
such as distractions in academic work, health issues, and time loss. However, the study establishes that appropriate

This document summarizes a study that examined medical students' awareness and usage of computers and the internet at the University of Jordan. 171 first-year medical students across 4 faculties participated in a survey. The results showed that most students have average to advanced computer and internet skills. Google was the most commonly used search engine. Students recognized the benefits of ICT for medical education but noted lack of time, connectivity and resources as constraints. Overall, the study found students have positive attitudes towards ICT and see benefits for their academic performance, but more resources could help maximize its potential in their education.

AIM: To analyze the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of health care workers regarding mobile phone hygiene in Riyadh Elm University. METHODS: A total of 153 respondents completed the questionnaire. A 26 variable questionnaire was employed to assess knowledge, attitude and practice regarding mobile phone hygiene amongst health care workers after obtaining consent and institutional permission. RESULTS: A response rate of 92.8% resulted in 153 questionnaires to be assessed. The study results showed that 62.5% of the respondents used mobile phones regularly, for professional or personal use and 82.4% of them considered mobile phones as a source of nosocomial infection. 90.2% of them opined that they would clean their mobile phones regularly following the COVID 19 (Coronavirus) infection. CONCLUSION: Easily available disinfectant materials must be employed in health care settings to disinfect mobile phone. Educational interventional programs must be advocated to ensure proper phone hygiene.

In the recent years, mobile technology in Pakistan has boosted up and has become a vital necessity of almost every inhabitant. Not only in terms of communication but in many other aspects of life, mobile technology is catering the needs of a dominant part of population of this country. Innovative utilization of mobile technology in rural areas of Baltistan region has enabled the local people to get the first aid treatment in time. Worthy to be mentioned of all, is the mobile based medical treatment system of mobile technology. It allows the people from rural areas of Baltistan to take utmost benefit of getting the appropriate first aid treatment in time. Keeping in mind the rapid trend of sending and receiving Short Messages Service (SMS) among people, the proposed model is based on the utilization of SMS. The system was made accurate and precise by managing resources and applying data mining techniques. Our Aims mainly includes (1) Survey of mobile users in rural areas of Baltistan. (2) Survey of distant places in rural areas from the main division head quarter hospital (3) Highlighting first aid cases from rural areas in past one year (4) Proposal of SMS based framework for first aid treatment. For the evaluation of survey for the first aid cases we adopted cross-sectional descriptive survey. We also conducted questionnaire based survey for the evaluation of those areas that are far away from the main hospital and mobile users of those rural areas of Baltistan that is situated in northern zone of Pakistan. It was found that more than 70% users can use easily operate the text message (SMS) facility of mobile in the defined areas of Baltistan. Conducting the survey and evaluation is the major part of the research. Survey includes highlighting of ratio of mobile users and areas that are far away from DHQ (Division headquarter) hospital. We also highlighted the first aid cases belonging to rural areas of 2013. By examining the results intimately we proposed a robust system that will facilitate the patients of rural areas.PERCEPTION TOWARDS MOBILE LEARNING ACTIVITIES AMONG POST GRADUATE STUDENTS

Adolescent anemia is a global health problem. The ability of adolescents to prevent and treat anemia is directly related to the knowledge and attitudes they possess. This was to determine the effectiveness of education using websites and WhatsApp to increase the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents regarding anemia. This was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest with control group design. The research was conducted in March and April 2023 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The intervention was a website and WhatsApp education, while the outcome were knowledge and attitude measured at baseline and end line. The study sample was 61 experimental group student and 44 control groups determined by multistage sampling. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann- Whitney tests using SPSS. The results showed that knowledge and attitude of adolescents both in the website and WhatsApp groups increased; knowledge scores in the website group baseline and end line were 90.87 and 95.4, respectively, with a change of 5,1%. While in the WhatsApp group, there were 85.6 and 94.8, with a change of 10.7%. The average pre-test and post-test attitude scores in the website group were 63.8 and 69.3 with a change of 8.6%, while in the WhatsApp group they were 83.3 and 89.1 with a change of 40.6%. The results showed that the increase in knowledge and attitudes in the WhatsApp group was significant: 1.02 (1.00–1.84) and 1.07 (91.01-0.96), respectively. As a conclusion, WhatsApp is more effective in increasing knowledge and attitude compared to website education.

The present study has been conducted to know the attitude of nursing students regarding preventive techniques to prevent from COVID 19 during COVID 19 pandemic. In order to achieve the objectives non experimental approach with survey research design was adopted. Setting of the study selected was Dr. Achal Singh Yadav institute of nursing and paramedical sciences, Lucknow. The selection of sample was done by using convenient non probability sampling technique. The sample size was 30. The method of data collection was using demographic variables questions and structured attitude rating scale related to attitude regarding prevention of COVID 19. Result shown that nursing students had neutral attitude regarding prevention of COVID 19 and there is no significant association between demographic variables with attitude of nursing students, hence hypothesis 1 rejected. Cyberchondria among College Teachers
This study assessed the level of cyberchondria, or health-related anxiety from online searches, among 100 college teachers in Coimbatore, India. The majority (55%) exhibited a mild level of cyberchondria, while a small percentage (6%) showed a moderate level. There was a significant association found between qualification and cyberchondria levels, but no other demographic factors. The study concludes most teachers had mild cyberchondria and implications discuss the need for educational programs to address its negative effects. Limitations included the small sample size from a restricted area. Further research with larger, more diverse samples is recommended.

Adoption of Mobile Money Services among University Students in Tanzania
The focus of the study was to assess factors influencing adoption of mobile money services among university students in Tanzania. The study adopted a quantitative approach where questionnaire was used to collect data from students of Ruaha Catholic University. Stratified sampling was used to ensure sample representation among students from different faculty and level of education thereafter simple random sampling was used to pick a sample size of 383 of respondents from the strata developed. Exploratory factors analysis was used to ensure construct validity of four construct. Cronbach alpha indicated that all variables had achieved an accepted range of internal consistent by yielding a Cronbach alpha p-value grater that 0.6.Using multiple regression analysis, findings revealed that students’ attitude, social factor and facilitating condition are significant factors influencing university students adoption of mobile money services in Tanzania.Based on these findings this study concludes that students’ attitudes, social pressure and facilitating conditions are factors influencing university students’ adoption of mobile money services in Tanzania higher learning institutions. This study recommend that, for speeding up the adoption of mobile money services, services provider should attract more peer pressure that could help to increase mobile money adoption among university students.

The study sample was 61 experimental group student and 44 control groups determined by multistage sampling. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann- Whitney tests using SPSS. The results showed that knowledge and attitude of adolescents both in the website and WhatsApp groups increased; knowledge scores in the website group baseline and end line were 90.87 and 95.4, respectively, with a change of 5,1%. While in the WhatsApp group, there were 85.6 and 94.8, with a change of 10.7%. The average pre-test and post-test attitude scores in the website group were 63.8 and 69.3 with a change of 8.6%, while in the WhatsApp group they were 83.3 and 89.1 with a change of 40.6%. The results showed that the increase in knowledge and attitudes in the WhatsApp group was significant: 1.02 (1.00–1.84) and 1.07 (91.01-0.96), respectively. As a conclusion, WhatsApp is more effective in increasing knowledge and attitude compared to website education.
Survey to Assess the Attitude of Nursing Students Regarding Prevention of COV...
The present study has been conducted to know the attitude of nursing students regarding preventive techniques to prevent from COVID 19 during COVID 19 pandemic. In order to achieve the objectives non experimental approach with survey research design was adopted. Setting of the study selected was Dr. Achal Singh Yadav institute of nursing and paramedical sciences, Lucknow. The selection of sample was done by using convenient non probability sampling technique. The sample size was 30. The method of data collection was using demographic variables questions and structured attitude rating scale related to attitude regarding prevention of COVID 19. Result shown that nursing students had neutral attitude regarding prevention of COVID 19 and there is no significant association between demographic variables with attitude of nursing students, hence hypothesis 1 rejected. Cyberchondria among College Teachers
This study assessed the level of cyberchondria, or health-related anxiety from online searches, among 100 college teachers in Coimbatore, India. The majority (55%) exhibited a mild level of cyberchondria, while a small percentage (6%) showed a moderate level. There was a significant association found between qualification and cyberchondria levels, but no other demographic factors. The study concludes most teachers had mild cyberchondria and implications discuss the need for educational programs to address its negative effects. Limitations included the small sample size from a restricted area. Further research with larger, more diverse samples is recommended.

Nurses are people who need self assessment to maintain and improve their practice by identifying their strengths and weakness in the areas that may need to be further develop ed.Medication errors are the most prevalent medical errors that threaten the patient’s safety. It is essential to implement the selected teaching strategies to the B.Sc. N IV year students to reduce the complication. A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of selected teaching strategies on knowledge regarding drug calculation among the B.Sc. N students in selected nursing college at Chennai. A one group pre test and post test pre experimental research design was adopted for the study and 30 B.Sc. Nursing IV year students were selected using simple random sampling technique.Semi structured questionnaires is a standardized tool, was used to assess the effectiveness of knowledge regarding drug calculation among the B.Sc. N students for the duration of 30 minutes with the video clip and black board demonstration. Adoption of Mobile Money Services among University Students in Tanzania
The focus of the study was to assess factors influencing adoption of mobile money services among university students in Tanzania. The study adopted a quantitative approach where questionnaire was used to collect data from students of Ruaha Catholic University. Stratified sampling was used to ensure sample representation among students from different faculty and level of education thereafter simple random sampling was used to pick a sample size of 383 of respondents from the strata developed. Exploratory factors analysis was used to ensure construct validity of four construct. Cronbach alpha indicated that all variables had achieved an accepted range of internal consistent by yielding a Cronbach alpha p-value grater that 0.6.Using multiple regression analysis, findings revealed that students’ attitude, social factor and facilitating condition are significant factors influencing university students adoption of mobile money services in Tanzania.Based on these findings this study concludes that students’ attitudes, social pressure and facilitating conditions are factors influencing university students’ adoption of mobile money services in Tanzania higher learning institutions. This study recommend that, for speeding up the adoption of mobile money services, services provider should attract more peer pressure that could help to increase mobile money adoption among university students.

Background and Objective Telehealth has become a well known tool for the delivery of health care in Saudi Arabia, and the perspective and knowledge of healthcare providers are influential in the implementation, adoption and advancement of the method. This systematic review was conducted to examine the current literature base regarding telehealth and the related healthcare professional perspective and knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods This systematic review was conducted by searching 7 databases including, MEDLINE, CINHAL, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ProQuest Central. Studies on healthcare practitioners telehealth knowledge and perspectives published in English in Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2023 were included. Boland directed this comprehensive review. The researchers examined each connected study using the AXIS tool, which evaluates cross sectional systematic reviews. Narrative synthesis was used to summarise and convey the data. Results Out of 1840 search results, 10 studies were included. Positive outlook and limited knowledge among providers were seen across trials. Healthcare professionals like telehealth for its ability to improve quality, access, and delivery, save time and money, and be successful. Age, gender, occupation, and work experience also affect health workers knowledge. In Saudi Arabia, healthcare professionals face inadequate expert assistance, patient privacy, internet connection concerns, lack of training courses, lack of telehealth understanding, and high costs while performing telemedicine. Conclusions Healthcare practitioners telehealth perceptions and knowledge were examined in this systematic study. Its collection of concerned experts different personal attitudes and expertise would help enhance telehealths implementation in Saudi Arabia, develop its healthcare delivery alternative, and eliminate frequent problems. Online Voices, Offline Impact Ambedkars Ideals and Socio Political Inclusion ...
This research investigates the nexus between online discussions on Dr. B.R. Ambedkars ideals and their impact on social inclusion among college students in Gurugram, Haryana. Surveying 240 students from 12 government colleges, findings indicate that 65 actively engage in online discussions, with 80 demonstrating moderate to high awareness of Ambedkars ideals. Statistically significant correlations reveal that higher online engagement correlates with increased awareness p 0.05 and perceived social inclusion. Variations across colleges and a notable effect of college type on perceived social inclusion highlight the influence of contextual factors. Furthermore, the intersectional analysis underscores nuanced differences based on gender, caste, and socio economic status. This study investigated the impact of educational background and professional training on human rights awareness among secondary school teachers in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. The key findings reveal that higher levels of education, particularly a master’s degree, and fields of study related to education, humanities, or social sciences are associated with greater human rights awareness among teachers. The Role of Mentoring and Its Influence on the Effectiveness of the Teaching ...
This paper reports on a study which was conducted to investigate the role of mentoring and its influence on the effectiveness of the teaching of Physics in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. The study adopted the convergent parallel mixed methods design, focusing on respondents in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analysed separately, and the results were compared to see if the findings confirm or disconfirm each other. The quantitative analysis found that majority of the respondents 72 of Physics teachers affirmed that they had more experienced colleagues as mentors to help build their confidence, improve their teaching, and help them improve their effectiveness and efficiency in guiding learners’ achievements. Only 28 of the respondents disagreed with these statements. With majority respondents 72 agreeing with the statements, it implies that in most secondary schools, experienced Physics teachers act as mentors to build teachers’ confidence in teaching and improving students’ learning. The interview qualitative data analysis summarized how secondary school Principals use meetings with mentors and mentees to promote mentorship in the school milieu. This has helped strengthen teachers’ classroom practices in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. With the results confirming each other, the study recommends that mentoring should focus on helping teachers employ social interactions and instructional practices feedback and clarity in teaching that have direct measurable impact on students’ learning achievements. Design Simulation and Hardware Construction of an Arduino Microcontroller Bas...
This study primarily focuses on the design of a high side buck converter using an Arduino microcontroller. The converter is specifically intended for use in DC DC applications, particularly in standalone solar PV systems where the PV output voltage exceeds the load or battery voltage. To evaluate the performance of the converter, simulation experiments are conducted using Proteus Software. These simulations provide insights into the input and output voltages, currents, powers, and efficiency under different state of charge SoC conditions of a 12V,70Ah rechargeable lead acid battery. Additionally, the hardware design of the converter is implemented, and practical data is collected through operation, monitoring, and recording. By comparing the simulation results with the practical results, the efficiency and performance of the designed converter are assessed. The findings indicate that while the buck converter is suitable for practical use in standalone PV systems, its efficiency is compromised due to a lower output current. Energy becomes sustainable if it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Some of the definitions of sustainable energy include the considerations of environmental aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, social, and economic aspects such as energy poverty. Generally far more sustainable than fossil fuel are renewable energy sources such as wind, hydroelectric power, solar, and geothermal energy sources. Worthy of note is that some renewable energy projects, like the clearing of forests to produce biofuels, can cause severe environmental damage. The sustainability of nuclear power which is a low carbon source is highly debated because of concerns about radioactive waste, nuclear proliferation, and accidents. The switching from coal to natural gas has environmental benefits, including a lower climate impact, but could lead to delay in switching to more sustainable options. “Carbon capture and storage” can be built into power plants to remove the carbon dioxide CO2 emissions, but this technology is expensive and has rarely been implemented. Leading non renewable energy sources around the world is fossil fuels, coal, petroleum, and natural gas. Nuclear energy is usually considered another non renewable energy source, although nuclear energy itself is a renewable energy source, but the material used in nuclear power plants is not. Concepts for Sudan Survey Act Implementations Executive Regulations and Stand...
This paper aims to outline the executive regulations, survey standards, and specifications required for the implementation of the Sudan Survey Act, and for regulating and organizing all surveying work activities in Sudan. The act has been discussed for more than 5 years. The Land Survey Act was initiated by the Sudan Survey Authority and all official legislations were headed by the Sudan Ministry of Justice till it was issued in 2022. The paper presents conceptual guidelines to be used for the Survey Act implementation and to regulate the survey work practice, standardizing the field surveys, processing, quality control, procedures, and the processes related to survey work carried out by the stakeholders and relevant authorities in Sudan. The conceptual guidelines are meant to improve the quality and harmonization of geospatial data and to aid decision making processes as well as geospatial information systems. The established comprehensive executive regulations will govern and regulate the implementation of the Sudan Survey Geomatics Act in all surveying and mapping practices undertaken by the Sudan Survey Authority SSA and state local survey departments for public or private sector organizations. The targeted standards and specifications include the reference frame, projection, coordinate systems, and the guidelines and specifications that must be followed in the field of survey work, processes, and mapping products. In the last few decades, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of geomatics activities and measurements on the Earths surface in space and time, together with observing and mapping the changes. In such cases, data must be captured promptly, standardized, and obtained with more accuracy and specified in much detail. The paper will also highlight the current situation in Sudan, the degree to which survey standards are used, the problems encountered, and the errors that arise from not using the standards and survey specifications. Towards the Implementation of the Sudan Interpolated Geoid Model Khartoum Sta...
The discussions between ellipsoid and geoid have invoked many researchers during the recent decades, especially during the GNSS technology era, which had witnessed a great deal of development but still geoid undulation requires more investigations. To figure out a solution for Sudans local geoid, this research has tried to intake the possibility of determining the geoid model by following two approaches, gravimetric and geometrical geoid model determination, by making use of GNSS leveling benchmarks at Khartoum state. The Benchmarks are well distributed in the study area, in which, the horizontal coordinates and the height above the ellipsoid have been observed by GNSS while orthometric heights were carried out using precise leveling. The Global Geopotential Model GGM represented in EGM2008 has been exploited to figure out the geoid undulation at the benchmarks in the study area. This is followed by a fitting process, that has been done to suit the geoid undulation data which has been computed using GNSS leveling data and geoid undulation inspired by the EGM2008. Two geoid surfaces were created after the fitting process to ensure that they are identical and both of them could be counted for getting the same geoid undulation with an acceptable accuracy. In this respect, statistical operation played an important role in ensuring the consistency and integrity of the model by applying cross validation techniques splitting the data into training and testing datasets for building the geoid model and testing its eligibility. The geometrical solution for geoid undulation computation has been utilized by applying straightforward equations that facilitate the calculation of the geoid undulation directly through applying statistical techniques for the GNSS leveling data of the study area to get the common equation parameters values that could be utilized to calculate geoid undulation of any position in the study area within the claimed accuracy. Both systems were checked and proved eligible to be used within the study area with acceptable accuracy which may contribute to solving the geoid undulation problem in the Khartoum area, and be further generalized to determine the geoid model over the entire country, and this could be considered in the future, for regional and continental geoid model. Sudan is witnessing an acceleration in the processes of development and transformation in the performance of government institutions to raise the productivity and investment efficiency of the government sector. The development plans and investment opportunities have focused on achieving national goals in various sectors. This paper aims to illuminate the path to the future and provide geospatial data and information to develop the investment climate and environment for all sized businesses, and to bridge the development gap between the Sudan states. The Sudan Survey Authority SSA is the main advisor to the Sudan Government in conducting surveying, mappings, designing, and developing systems related to geospatial data and information. In recent years, SSA made a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment to activate Geospatial Information for Sudans Sustainable Investment and in particular, for the preparation and implementation of the Sudan investment map, based on the directives and objectives of the Ministry of Investment MI in Sudan. DeepMask Transforming Face Mask Identification for Better Pandemic Control in...
The COVID 19 pandemic has highlighted the crucial need of preventive measures, with widespread use of face masks being a key method for slowing the viruss spread. This research investigates face mask identification using deep learning as a technological solution to be reducing the risk of coronavirus transmission. The proposed method uses state of the art convolutional neural networks CNNs and transfer learning to automatically recognize persons who are not wearing masks in a variety of circumstances. We discuss how this strategy improves public health and safety by providing an efficient manner of enforcing mask wearing standards. The report also discusses the obstacles, ethical concerns, and prospective applications of face mask detection systems in the ongoing fight against the pandemic. S2 1 Principal, M.Sc (N), 2 Associate Professor, 1,2 Madha College of Nursing, Kunrathur, Tamil Nadu, India ABSTRACT Nurses are people who need self-assessment to maintain and improve their practice by identifying their strengths and weakness in the areas that may need to be further developed. A non-experimental studywas conducted to assess the usage of mobile phone and attitude regarding mobile phone usage among B.sc nursing students in selected nursing college in Chennai. A descriptive research design was adapted for the study and 60 B.sc III year students were used selected using purposive sampling technique. semi-structure questionnaires is standardized tool was used to assess the mobile phone usage and attitude regarding mobile phone usage B.sc nursing students. The study findings show the 18.299 usage of mobile phone and 17.52 attitude B.sc nursing students are uses mobile phone more. Cell phones are one of advanced device that are almost used by every adolescent for maximum period of time the young generation with the age of 12-25 years is more incline to mobile phone use as compare to the older generation. Because in adolescents age people are more flexible and susceptible the changing trends and styles making them more technology dependent Excessive use of mobile phone can give rise to the problem in interaction with parents and in the other areas. Excessive use of mobile phone as evidenced by cost and number of calls and message sent interference with other activities is daily life. Alters the rule for interpersonal relationship and it even can affect users health. Statement of problem An exploratory study to assess the usage of mobile phone and attitude regarding mobile phone usage among B.Sc. nursing students in selected college of nursing. Objectives To assess the usage of mobile phone among the B.Sc nursing students. To assess attitude regarding mobile phone usage among theB.sc nursing students. Research Methodology Quantitative research approach was adopted for the study. Exploratory research deign was used selected. The study was conducted in Madha college of nursing, kundrathur in Chennai. population consist of B.sc nursing III year students who were studying in Madha college of nursing. The sample of 60 B.sc Nursing III year students who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were chosen using purposive sampling technique are used select the samples. The tools used for the study was semi structured that consists of 10 question regarding mobile phone usage 12 question regarding attitude. After obtaining consent from the students, the data collection procedure was started by providing the questionnaire. They were 15-30 minutes to complete the questionnaire Result and discussion The data collected was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics on the basis of objectives and hypothesis. The demographic variables of nursing students revealed that the Regarding age of study subject 36(60 %) were in the age group of 19 - 20 year, 24 (40%) were in the age group of 20 -21 year. Regarding sex 11(3 %) were males, 49(82 %) were females Regarding model of mobile phone 57 (95 %) were android, 2(3%) were I phone, 1(2%) were basic model. Regarding occupation of father 3(5%) were government employee, 19(32%) were private employee, 33(55%) were daily wages, 5(8%) were un employee. Regarding occupation of mother 3(5%) were government employee,8(13%) were private employee, 38(63%) were daily wages, 11(19%) were un employee Regarding monthly income 8(13%) were 30,001 and above, 19(32%) were 20,001-30,000, 24(40%) were 20,001-10,000., 9(15%) were, <_ 10,000.Regarding mobile bill per month 2(3%) were <_100, 9(15%) were 101-200, 28(47%) were 201-300, 21(31%) were 301 and above. The first objective was to assess the usage of mobile phone and attitude among the B.sc nursing third year students. In that 8(13%) were never, 16 (27%) were rarely, 30(50%) were sometimes, 6(10%) were often. Frequency and percentage distribution of mobile phone usage among B.sc(N) III year students The second objective to assess attitude regarding mobile phone usage: In that 4(7%) were completely disagree, 14 (24%) were disagree somewhat, 23(38%) were neutral, 17(28%) were Frequency and percentage distribution of attitude among the B.sc (N) III year students.

The association between the usage of mobile phone and attitude regarding mobile phone usage B.sc (N) nursing students with selected demographic variable with regard age chi square value of 1.68 was non-significant. With regard sex chi square value of 3.99 was non-significant. With regard model of mobile phone chi square value of 10.99 was non-significant. With regard occupation of father chi square value of 6.01 was non-significant. With regard occupation of mother chi square value of 16.92 was significant. With regard monthly income chi square value of 21.41 was significant. With regard mobile bill per month chi square value of 10.8 was non-significant. Conclusion This study was done to assess the usage of mobile phone and attitude regarding mobile phone usage among B.sc nursing students in selected college of nursing in Chennai. Based on the basis of obtain result it can be said the majority of the students are using smart phone. There are not gender wise distribution in use of mobile phone. the gender difference of usage of mobile for internet use, for making call, and sms and these gender difference were not found. over all it was found that desire to get connected is very important factor in for social networking sights.
