that the review of literature is appropriate and critically analyzes published learning
journals by the use of summaries and comparisons.
The methodology section was explained in sufficient detail. It allowed its readers to
address the research questions/problems. Langer (2002) uses two principle modes of
inquiry, which are: review of learning journals submitted by students; and
interviewing selected students who completed the course. The population was
identified and selected by using three components in the process. The interview guide
that was provided to two researchers, and not the interviewees, is an indication that
the results would prove reliable. The results from the interviews allowed the
researchers to further assess the significance and relative successes of the participant
journals.

first day as a Colorado Christian University student, English composition online is

had me thinking you re a crazy person for going back to school, it s been 11 years
since you had to write a paper. What are you thinking? I told myself its 5 weeks

condensed and hard, but effective and informative; I ve learned so much, felt all

In the late evening of March 3rd 2002, through to the evening of March 4th 2002,
Special
Operation Forces were engaged in an intense fire fight with al Qaeda forces on a
mountain top known as Takur Ghar. This battle was the product of a botched
reconnaissance insertion and ultimately resulted in a 24 hour fire fight and the
deaths of 7 U.S. service members and over 200 al Qaeda fighters. Navy SEAL, Neil
C. Roberts is believed to be the first U.S. casualty of this battle and thus, the battle
also became unofficially known as Roberts Ridge (1).

The goal of this project is to work towards answering the question of whether or not
football helmets promote neck injuries. In order to gather data, a U of R team made
a machine that rapidly changes speed while translating from side to side to stimulate
a rotational acceleration and velocity about the head and neck due to an angular
displacement. The purpose of this machine is to simulate an unexpected and sudden
change in motion of the head in order to analyse the resulting motion. The data
collected was the rotational position of the head, the linear position of the cart, and
the linear position of a point on the body. All measurements were made with and
without a helmet. In order to answer the main question, there had to be a further
understanding of how the mechanics of the head and neck change with the addition
of a helmet. To achieve this, MATLAB was used to compute the resulting velocities
and accelerations, the reaction forces at the neck, and the moment about the base of
the neck. From these calculations, it is possible to make observations about how the
addition of a helmet affects the dynamics of the head and neck. The code is
