friends

sleep
• Think of all the INSTAGRAMS and VINES
• We can “find ourselves”

If they did it, so can we “You’re Fired”

Don’t Just Believe Me
“Having seen it in pictures so
many times it was hard to
believe we were actually
standing here! We found it very
easy and well laid out in terms
of parking and the visitor centre
etc. We also met the last
surviving worker who helped to
make Mount Rushmore, who
has written a book about the
experience that was on sale in
the gift shop. He was there
signing copies and chatting to
people when we visited which
was really cool.”

Don’t Just Believe Me
“My parents took us here for the first time in
1968. Forty-four years later, I was back and
bringing my partner here for his first visit.
The change and improvements to this site
have been amazing. The park is absolutely
beautiful and impressive. Staring at the four
presidents made my throat tight with
emotion as a bead of a tear formed in one
eye. With so many negative things going on
these days, here was a symbol of my
country that I can look at with pride. I also
stopped one of the NPS rangers to thank
them for the work that they do. People, the
NPS is a huge blessing and priceless asset
this country has. Please take advantage of it
whenever you can. There were ample
walkways, an area with all the state flags,
an amphitheater, gift shop, clean and
spacious restrooms, plenty of parking and
the pine hills surrounding the park are
absolutely gorgeous. The weather was
perfect which really helps. Bottom line...
Stunning...Wonderful...Beautiful.”
