The Antonov 225 is the world's heaviest and largest jet ever built, with 32 wheels and a 291 foot wing span. It was designed in 1988 to airlift components for the Soviet space program, including rocket boosters and space shuttles, and can carry up to 250,000 kg internally or 200,000 kg externally on its upper fuselage, with external cargo able to be 70 meters long.
