Manage Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities as well as Operations and Maintenance development.

• Prepare permit packages for 200 AHJs, follow up with denials and approvals, pay and receive the permit.
• Apply for and ensure approval and completion of ComEd interconnection and net metering. Communicate status with
system owners and preconstruction team.

• Supervised and implemented scientific research in Uganda’s rural areas within a National Park corridor, funded by
National Science Foundation and National Geographic Society, under Dr. Joel Hartter.
• Streamlined operations, reduced budget expenses by 30% and coordinated travel, funds, reporting, and
communications to U.S.
• Collected and maintained project data. Obtained research permissions and built rapport with subsistence farmers,
landowners, local chairmen and district officials to conduct interviews. Was point of contact for landowners in

The Kasiisi Project supports education in forest-edge (Kibale National Park) schools so that students may depend less on
the forest's dwindling resources, home of monkeys, chimpanzees, and forest elephants.
• Managed three entities in three countries; directed all on-site programs for this innovative community-based
organization – Kibale Forest Schools Program (KFSP) and U.S./U.K. based non-profits, Kasiisi Project/Porridge Project.
Communicated key organizational information with all coordinators; was point of contact. Attended specific project
meetings.
• Ensured high quality delivery of programming for ten field projects with ten staff members. Managed field level
resources, reduced budget expenses by 45%, and satisfied grant implementation. Worked independently and as part of
a fast-paced highly mobile team.
• Demonstrated team leadership by coordinating volunteers from Peace Corps, MIT, and Harvard. Trained and mentored
staff. Cultivated leads for new and expanded program opportunities.

LINCOLN PARK ZOO, Chicago, IL Master Animal Keeper, 2003 - 2010
• Educated Chicago's urban public and donors during keeper talks and formal education department events.
• Demonstrated team leadership as Chapter President for American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) 2009 – 2010.
Chapter Vice President of AAZK 2008. Organized fundraisers for the annual National Bowling For Rhinos event, raising

critically endangered populations.

behavioral data and samples for veterinary staff, and executed operant conditioning training in seven of ten animal
