• Supervised and implemented scientific research in Uganda’s rural areas within a National Park corridor, funded by
National Science Foundation and National Geographic Society, under Dr. Joel Hartter.

The Kasiisi Project supports education in forest-edge (Kibale National Park) schools so that students may depend less on
the forest's dwindling resources, home of monkeys, chimpanzees, and forest elephants.
• Managed three entities in three countries; directed all on-site programs for this innovative community-based
organization – Kibale Forest Schools Program (KFSP) and U.S./U.K. based non-profits, Kasiisi Project/Porridge Project.
Communicated key organizational information with all coordinators; was point of contact. Attended specific project
meetings.
• Ensured high quality delivery of programming for ten field projects with ten staff members. Managed field level
resources, reduced budget expenses by 45%, and satisfied grant implementation. Worked independently and as part of
a fast-paced highly mobile team.
