Projects Worked
1. National Games
Most important sporting event in India. I am proud to being a part of such a big project.
The project consist of 7 modules in java. I am assigned to work on two module
Transportation and Arrival and Departure. Worked closely with other testers and
developers to improve automated framework with bug fixes and feature requests. My
responsibilities included test plans, test cases, test execution, test reports, opening and
verifying work requests/bug reports and helping recreate customer issues.
As I have coordinated and managed the activities with other test teams and
development teams of the same project, I could be able to deal with client successfully with
regard to the software assistance. The correlated work with development team enabled
me to improve my knowledge and practical experience in java.
I have also associated with the Network Engineers for the efficient working of
communication system of the National Games. Thus I could be able to understand the
basic principles of Networking.
2. UIIC
United India Insurance Company Limited under Department of Financial Services,
Ministry of Finance, is a public sector General Insurance Company of India and one of the
top General Insurers in Asia. Core Genesis is very big project consist of several modules
based on type of insurance, premium calculation, claim, data summary etc.
I am assigned to work on the modules Health Insurance, Animal Insurance and Collection
summary. Opening and verifying work requests/bug reports and closing the bugs were
done using the RED MINE software of our company. Through Red Mine software we can
easily communicate with the development team in other location. My responsibility is to
ensure the modules was fit to go into production. I made process improvement
recommendations to the development and production teams and assisting in their
implementation.
After implementation of the software I rendered management and administration of
technical support team to make the client more familiar with the software. By this work I
could be able to improve my skills in presentation and dialogue with clients.
3. KVAT
Kerala Value Added Tax is a Gov. Project. I contributed individually for the testing of the
module Log Raising. It is a platform for the client to interact with the development team.
