The Rainforest Sloth lives in the rainforest canopy of Central and South America, where it spends its days climbing and hanging upside down from trees. It is a slow moving, herbivorous animal that eats leaves and drinks water collected on plants. Adult female sloths give birth each year to a single baby while hanging upside down from tree branches.
