• In 1995 Amazon was online. It stared as an online books store.

• Amazon entered Indian market in Feb 2018.
• There are more than 3 lakh sellers in amazon India.
• It entered India with the name of jungle.com later it transformed itself to
amazon.
• Amazon is one of the largest online market place in India.
• Amazon had 34 Departments with more than 1 million products are
being sold.
• A fulfillment center is where amazon stores its products for the faster
delivery.
• There are 9 fulfillment centers in India.
