AMA is the Country Wide Network of sex workers whose main focus is to advocate around law and policy reform as well as Right to health for sex workers.
2. The AMA Vision
• Aye Myanmar Association (AMA) seeks to build
a Myanmar where all the sex workers live in an
environment of respect, human rights, social
justice and dignity.
• AMA wishes for a society where there is no
stigma and discrimination, no violence based on
class, gender and or occupation.
• All the individual communities are able to lead a
quality life with peace and harmony.

Building formal and informal alliances with
individuals, groups and organizations

limit the life of sex worker

Community led outreach
•AMA is currently working in 5 major cities of
Myanmar
•15 community workers and 20 volunteers are
working in outreach level
• Community mobilization, condom & gel
distribution, referral for clinical services and
awareness building on various issues
• Working with NAP/TMO for
clinical services
• Research – VASW, Stigma
and discrimination, ICT
• Advocacy forreform –
change the law
