5. POWERPOINT
Advantages:
Can easily input images
Templates are built in for different appearances
Can add notes pages
Can easily add media and recordings
Disadvantages:
Animations and backgrounds can distract from the information
presented
File size can become quite large on medium to large presentations
Some features can be complicated to use
Takes time to create a complete presentation
6. THINGS TO AVOID IN POWERPOINT
Don’t use too much text on your slides
Don’t use meaningless clipart
Don’t use a distracting background
Don’t use a font size that is too small (14 minimum)
Don’t create too many slides
7. OUR DISCLAIMER
The important thing is not which program to use, but rather to
understand the purpose of the individual slides or presentations.
No program transforms poor presenters or poor presentations into
good ones.
It is not the software that creates boring presentations it is the content
and the presenter.
