This is the simple table of content. It presents
alternative freeware programs to Microsoft office
programs.

3. Many people are not consious that here are
other programs besides Microsoft office’ ones.
Due to lack of knowledge they illegaly
download illeagal copies of ’Office’. However,
they do not know that they can download
freeware programs which are the same or even
better than Microsoft ones. So my aim is to
present such programs which substitute
Microsoft office software.

5. AbiWord is very similar to
Microsoft Word. People who
are used to Word will not
have any bigger difficulties
whith switching over to
AbiWord.

- Can run on ’Non-State of the art’ softwares

7. My opinion
I think that
AbiWord is a grat
alternative. It is
user friendly,
everything can be
easily found and I
had no problems
whith running it on
my computer.

I consider Gnumeric
as a very good
alternative. It’s look
is very appealing
and functions are
clearly visiblr. I had
no problems with
running this
program.

part of the KOffice. With KPresenter,
you can prepare a set of slides for use

I think that this program
is by far the best one to
make presentations. I
really liked the interface. It
was user friendly, simple
and neat. I also like 3D
options. They made the
diagrams look very nice. I
totally recomend this
program.

Eventhough, I am using
my browser as my e-mail
client I would defineatly
use this program if I
were to chose. I really
liked changable thems
and additional extension
which made it very
useful. Compared to MS
Outlook, Thunderbird
wins.

was very easy to use.
The thing I liked most
was the calendar. It

which made it the best
calendar I have ever
used.

27. My opinion
IncrediMail is the
funniest program I have
ever used. I used to
operate on it in the past,
so I had some more
expirience. Despite all
these awesome features I
did not like it very much.
The number of extra
things was
overwhelming.
Everything was easy to
find, though. I recomend
this program for young
poeple who want to have
fun with e-mails.

28. There are many more
alternative programs. However,
these are the best. I chose them
by looking on notes given by
users. I wanted to give the best
possible freeware software
possibilites.
