SME Chapter 248 and INWAC jointly sponsored a plant tour of AL-TEK, INC., a manufacturing company with machining and plastic injection molding operations. Over 75 people attended the tour, which emphasized aerospace manufacturing in the Inland Northwest region. AL-TEK integrates their machining and molding capabilities for aerospace contract manufacturing. They also have a division focused on educational robotics and STEM products. The tour was part of SME Chapter 248's efforts to organize monthly manufacturing company tours and promote the aerospace industry through collaboration with INWAC.
