The document demonstrates Extension TV, which aggregates Extension's video content across platforms for cross-platform search and distribution, and its administrative functions for managing channels.
This document summarizes a seminar on development strategies for countries with low Human Development Index scores. It discusses how development is defined and measured using the HDI. The presenter reviewed development theories and case studies of countries that have successfully developed. Some key factors that enhance development discussed included good governance, education, property rights, and a strong private sector economy. Factors that can hinder development include unfavorable geography, climate issues, cultural and religious challenges, colonialism, and ongoing conflicts. The presentation emphasized that while outside factors play a role, countries must focus on building human, physical, and social assets to develop.
The document discusses emerging payment trends like mobile payments, online payments, and contactless payments, as well as rising costs and complexities in payment systems from legacy infrastructure and disparate systems. It introduces the idea of a solution that already exists to address these issues by allowing adoption of new technologies while supporting legacy terminals, facilitating contactless payments, and providing stability, reliability, and lower costs. This solution is being deployed in over 5,000 locations across 30 countries to redefine payment solutions through its effects of simplifying deployments and providing trusted transactions with real-time analytics.
The document summarizes a seminar held by FARA on mycotoxins management in Africa. It discusses the large health and economic impacts of aflatoxins contamination across Sub-Saharan Africa, including an estimated 1 million additional HIV infections annually from fumonisin in maize alone. Aflatoxins are found to suppress immune function and exacerbate diseases like malaria and tuberculosis. They also impact nutrition and pregnancy outcomes. Agricultural technologies, post-harvest processing methods, and policy approaches are recommended to minimize exposure and enforced food quality standards. FARA's role in advocacy and awareness creation on the health and food security implications was discussed.

groep leerlingen in gemengde duo’s samen maatschappelijke
stage lopen.
Maatschappelijke Stage Plus.
In de workshop krijgen deelnemers inzicht in de gevarieerde
praktijk die zo ontstaat. Bovendien willen we deelnemers
