The role of Visitor Centres in UNESCO Designated Sites – Regional Workshop fo Europe – 30 September – 2 October 2018 Palermo (Italy)
Designated in 2015 thanks to a very rich
biodiversity and the expecially balance
between man and nature
Area with different Unesco awards: 2 Unesco
Heritage (Dolomiti and pile dwelling sites Fiavè
and Ledro) and the Geopark Adamello Brenta
Biosphere reserve is situated in a strategic
position, with a high potential number of visitors
For the moment there’s no specific visitor
center – all the attractions and all the operators
should be “a window” on the biosphere
