sales volume considering only the 3 big markets: Argentina,
Brazil and Mexico.
• As Latin NCAP tests the most basic variants in the market,

Conclusions: Adult Occupant protection
Role of NCAPs in emerging markets
NCAPs in emerging markets are becoming a solid
reference point and a powerful source of information
for consumers and governments.
NCAPs highlighted the importance and need of
performance based regulations and the need of a solid
control of those regulations
Car manufacturers can produce the latest platforms
and improve their structures in short time but they can
also remove reinforcements in short time as well.
Thank you very much!.

Body shell integrity is critical for the protection of
occupants. Without adequate body shell strength
there is no point in fitting airbags.
