This document discusses getting small air freight forwarders to adopt eFreight. It questions why members of the Air Forwarders Association are avoiding eFreight and whether the industry is ready. It proposes the CgoXchange plan to encourage adoption, including delivering user-friendly air cargo apps through a modern interface and limiting paper interfaces over time. The plan envisions mobile apps when appropriate, with the first app facilitating requests and responses between forwarders, airlines, shippers and truckers. It outlines a future with new apps, customized dashboards, greater mobility, interconnectivity and industry knowledge in real time.
