This document discusses the training and simulation process for the Galileo Constellation Operations conducted by DLR Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanwendungen (GfR) mbH. It outlines a multi-level training approach using standalone and joint simulations between control centers to train personnel. It describes how simulations have increased in complexity from 2011 to 2013 to match the growing Galileo satellite constellation. Lessons learned from these simulations will help improve the definition and configuration of future operations and simulations as the constellation expands.
