Ai Shinozaki will be releasing a new song titled "Hikari" from her upcoming solo album in December, accompanied by a 48-page photobook of the same name being released on November 6th. The photobook documents Shinozaki's journey in New York as a solo artist and features sample images. It has a concept of growth to match the mature sound of the slow song. A special code in the photobook can be used to download the song, expiring on May 5th, 2016.

3. In what appears to be a win-win situation,
Ai Shinozaki will be releasing a new song
titled “Hikari” from her upcoming first solo
album (release date: December 2015) with
a 48-page photobook of the same name on
November 6, 2015!

7. The concept behind “Hikari” seems to be one of growth
as the music shows off Shinozaki’s voice in a mature
slow song. The photobook featured pictures of her in
New York, documenting her journey as a solo artist. Art
direction was handled by Brooklyn-based Japanese artist
Fantasista Utamaro. Similar to a music card, there will
be a special code included in the photbook which can be
used to download the song (the code was expire on May
5, 2016).
