High level briefings
-Provided a wide variety of high level cyber intelligence threat briefs to VIP visitors at the Flag Officer and SES level as well
as in-depth briefings to a wide range of audiences including Communications Officer Course, Advanced Communications
Officer Course, Expeditionary Warfare School, and Command and Staff College
-As the Mission Planning intelligence officer in the Strike Intelligence Analysis Center conducted over 500 daily intelligence
briefings in support of Carrier Air Wing 3 and VMFA- 312 Close Air Support (CAS) missions over a six month period dur-
ing combat operations, while embarked aboard the Harry S Truman (CVN-75).
-Conducted all source intelligence analysis in coordination with international intelligence forces which shaped the Regional
Command- South intelligence assessment briefed to Commander of UN Forces Afghanistan (General Petraeus) directly con-
tributing to the success of OPERATION HOMKARI in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
Coordination and Intel management
-During a time of numerous cyber exploits and attacks, I continued to improve processes, procedures, and products to outma-
neuver the enemy by supervising the development of a detailed and comprehensive collection plan, conducting a thorough
review of Intel Division standard operating procedures, and coordinating with Defensive Cyber Operations to synchronize
ops/intel efforts and ensure a hardened defensive posture.
-Provided quality control for all S-2 products sent to senior leaders across the Marine Corps which was recognized by the 3rd
Marine Expeditionary Force’s G-6 as high quality, useful, relevant, and timely products he copied and pasted for his Com-
manding General and principal staff.
Knowledge of Intel-ops
-Through my technical expertise, analysis skills and understanding of adversary tactics, I was hand selected to serve as the
first Carrier Air Wing Intelligence Liaison Officer and forward deployed to the Kandahar, Afghanistan in a coalition intelli-
gence fusion center.
-Conducted thorough and actionable assessments, assisted development of an integrated in depth defense plan with the Ma-
rine Computer Emergency Response Team and skillfully coordinated technical issues with MARFORCYBER ensuring suc-
cessful efforts of network operators to create aggressive countermeasures and mitigate threats.
-A clear understanding of the time competitive decision cycle required for success in the cyber arena and tightly integrating
the intelligence section in the Ops/Intel cycle critical to Network Operations & Defense I was chosen to represent the
MCNOSC at multiple Joint conferences/meetings to discuss current challenges and solutions in the cyber realm of warfare.
-Supervised the development of a detailed and comprehensive collection plan through structured analytics to counter an im-
minent threat to the availability of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network.
2. -Provided pivotal training scenarios and real world updates displaying an understanding of world current events and expertise
in understanding of ground combat arms that translated into marked improvement in intelligence support to the Carrier Air
Wing increasing the effectiveness of the US Navy in support of OEF. The CVW-3 Naval Intelligence Department Head
(LCDR), ranked me number 1 of 15 officers within the department and within the top 5% of all intelligence officers, ob-
served.
Administrative/ Logistical/ Training management
-In a fiscally constrained environment, continuously developed and implemented a fiscal year training plan for the Intelli-
gence Division to ensure compliance with external and internal training requirements including USCYBERCOM Cyber Pro-
tection Forces, DoDD 8570, and Marine Corps training standards.
-Successfully managed system administration and personnel administration for the 28 personnel of the Intelligence Division
of the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center to include section task tracking, CMCC and CMR holdings,
annual review of all Intel Division SOPs, and award submissions.
-Planned and Coordinated Intel division planning and support for Continuity of Operations (COOP) exercise and Standard
Operation Procedure.
-Conducted training for intelligence Marines at the MAG level and ensured dissemination to the squadron in the production
of Group Intelligence Products.
. Advance analytics
-Coordinated with Marine Forces Cyber Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, and Marine Corps Intelli-
gence Activity to develop and implement Advanced Analytics into Intel Division operations including the standup of a dedi-
cated working group, development of detailed POA&M, completion of intermediate training for all S-2 analysts that resulted
in doubled reports processed and produced.
