3. • Volvo Group’s Global Safety initiative for Kids – Stop, Look &
Wave is a program with young children (aged 4-10) at
schools or communities – introducing them to Road safety .
• It aims to teach children how to behave safely in traffic,
especially how to interact with trucks and other large
vehicles when crossing the road.
• The program often includes actual experience of sitting in a
truck/bus besides experiencing the driver’s circumstance first
hand.
• It is an excellent outreach activity with a high possibility of
influencing better behavior in children and also make them
