- 3. How will I sign up? ORead through the following slides and pick your top 6 NGOs. OYour teacher will then help you sign up to attend the presentations of three NGOs. OOn the day of the conference, there will be four sessions. Your teacher will let you know which NGO presentations you are attending and in which session.
- 4. What do I need to bring? OBring a notebook and a pencil so you can take down notes. OBring a light snack, lunch, and a water bottle. OThink of your questions beforehand OAnd finally, bring an open mind!

- 19. Angels for Orphans Angels for Orphans provides funding to improve children’s lives worldwide. In HK, they work with Po Leung Kuk to give opportunities to neglected and disadvantaged children. - 22. Eagle Owl on Lantau Eagleowl on Lantau is run by Paul Melsom, an Horticulturalist. He is an expert in native tree planting and restoration, landscaping, herb growing, veg container growing, roof gardens, Bokashi compost. - 23. Clean the World Clean the World was founded in 2009 by Shawn Seipler. The idea for soap recycling came about after he learned that barely used bars of hotel soap ended up in landfills. - 28. Cambodia Indo-China Starfish Foundation (ESF) This is an ESF foundation wide project. The aim is to assist Cambodian teachers in the delivery of their English curriculum. Our very own ESF staff visit 2 local Cambodian schools where they support teachers and also deliver lessons with the help of a translator.
- 29. Kely Support KELY Support Group provides support to youth between the ages of 14 to 24 in Hong Kong. Their programmes and services focus on drug and alcohol prevention and intervention and are designed to tackle the root causes of abuse, including boredom, peer pressure, lack of self-awareness, low self- esteem, poverty, unemployment, and discrimination.
