We design our products as a durable weathering skin that protects the building as well as supplies it with solar electricity and optionally thermal energy. The thermal option is defined as BITERS of building integrated thermal energy roofing systems. • Options to Consider
– Cell appearance:
• Color: Polycrystalline are iridescent and have multiple color options.
Monocrystalline is only available in black or dark blue.
– Blue & Black highest efficiency
– Main difference is Monocrystalline uses more pure silicon in makeup of
cells than poly. Poly slightly less expensive, often used on big commercial
jobs.
• Size & Shape: Poly cells are square. Mono cells are “psuedo square”
with beveled corners OR “true square” shape.

17. Solar Ring Lighted With a Programmable, Customizable Multi-Color
LED Array
Some 1,350 solar BIPV panels in 47 sections power the 916 LED fixtures on a
mile-long track around the top of Metlife Stadium, the biggest stadium in the
NFL and of home of the New York Football Giants and New York Jets. This
signature Solar Ring can display team colors and additional hues to meet the
needs of visiting events, including concerts and college sporting contests.
The building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) panels, manufactured by Atlantis
Energy Systems of Poughkeepsie, NY., generate about 350kW, nearly 25 times
the amount of electricity that's actually needed to power the LED display
system. The excess power is used to lower the electrical bill or can be sold
back to utility provider.
