1. Adventure film for a young
audience
MY group was given the task to create an adventure film for a young audience ,The setting we
chose to use was the school field using the trim trail and the trees to make it look like a typical
action adventure setting. We used the boys in our group Bobby and Denzil as out characters as
males fit action adventure films more.

2. This is a picture of Bobby climbing the trim trail, we took it from a low angle so it appeared
that he was climbing higher and that it was more adventurous fitting our genre. We took a
long shot so that you could see exactly what he was doing but also the setting to show the
scene too. His posture and expression shows a look of proudness like he has completed
what he set out to do. It fits our target audience as it isn’t too scary and uses people the
same age as the viewers so they can relate.

3. In this picture you see Denzil and Bobby behind a tree, this gives the impression that
they are hiding and looking sneaky and creating mystery which you would see in an
action adventure film often. It also shows enigma as the audience will wonder why they
are hiding. We used a extreme long shot you can see them and also the surrounding so
you can understand where they are and what they are doing.

4. This shot is of bobby climbing a tree, we again used a low angle shot to make the tree
appear higher and the shot more scary. The fact that bobby is climbing makes it seem
action adventure typical but the fact it is not to scary appeals to our audience. Bobby
looks relaxed and calm which makes him appear as an hero a typical action adventure
character, as he looks happy it appeals to the target audience again.

5. Is this picture Bobby is walking into a hut, it looks abandoned and mysterious, adding enigma
to the audience as they want to know what is in the hut. The use of a extreme long show
means we can understand the show more establishing the setting and what the character is
doing. He looks like he is exploring so it fits action adventure. The lack of violence or scariness
makes it appeal to a younger audience.
