This document outlines the promotion requirements for different ranks in NJROTC, including time in rank, required participation and community service events, academic and practical test subjects, and recommended study materials. To advance to Chief/Senior Assistant, a cadet needs 4 weeks as Chief/Senior and must participate in two events with a B average or higher in NJROTC courses and score 90 or higher on personnel inspections. Higher ranks require more time in service, events, academic performance, and demonstration of leadership skills during drills and inspections.
