1980 - 1992: Yael Software Ltd.
Project leader for management, development, implementation, and support of a trade
finance banking system for major banks in the Far East and in Israel, including issuing
functional specifications, coordinating with the customer, coordinating customer’s
development group, and providing user training. The project included design and
implementation of various interfaces for other banking systems such as SWIFT,
General Ledger, Demand Deposit Account, Foreign Exchange, Customer Information
System payment systems, as well as EDI interface.
Project manager for a large-scale development project that dealt with the national
collection of fees for the Israeli Broadcasting Authorities. This was a major
development task including responsibilities for all project phases, starting at project
initiation and terminating with installation, implementation, and ongoing support.
Responsible for design, development, and implementation of logistics and financial
systems in major industrial and financial institutions, and senior consultant and
strategic planner for these institutions.
1972 - 1980: IDF - Major
Responsible for various logistics projects dealing with inventory and purchasing,
management and control, and transportation - including definition development and
implementation of these projects.
