- First of all, what does M&Ms stand for? UCLA ACM’s president, Akshay, came up with the idea for shortening Mentors & Mentees, which was a mouthful and really couldn’t fit well on our Facebook cover photo. The M&Ms program is targeted toward women in computer science at UCLA, and we hope to bring together mentors, those who are upperclassmen, and mentees, underclassmen.
