aid in estimating the prevalence, magnitude and frequency of the problem in different regions.

Surveys, as a quantitative research method, is one of the most effective in the social

Congressional Research Service was used to predicts that, if tax cap is not removed, there will be a permanent increase of tax rate from 12.4% to 15.1% which would hurt people making less than the current tax cap currently at $132,900 or, cutting benefits by 20% in 2035 and continuously rising every year.
In as much as the author makes a good point on the percentage of rich people that donated to campaign, the author failed to state how much the rich get in payroll tax cap since that is a major part of the authors argument. The authors failed to indicate how an increase in tax rate would affect people making less than the current tax cap which is $132,900. To sum it up, the author failed to expand and give more numeric evidence to support the argument.
In addition, to provide a guideline in eliminating payroll tax cap, the author suggested a bill introduced by Bernie Sanders called, Keeping Our Social Security Promises Act. The bill according to the author seeks to remove the cap placed on payroll taxes. The author further stated the bill will help Solvency to expand for 75 years without increasing taxes for those who earn less than $250,000, the only people who will see a change are those earn more than $250,000. According to the Congressional Research Service as stated by the author, removing the cap would eliminate 84% of the projected shortfall. These experiences may present barriers within and outside the health care system. Another disadvantage would be maldistribution. It is hard to achieve health care coverage for the uninsured but also for addressing indistinctly linked workforce problems such as shortages and skill imbalances. Often the problem may not be the absolute number of workers, but the type of workers trained and their job location. Here at the beginning of the semester I want to say something to you about academic integrity.[2]
I’m deeply convinced that integrity is an essential part of any true educational experience, integrity on
my part as a faculty member and integrity on your part as a student.
To take an easy example, would you want to be operated on by a doctor who cheated his way through
medical school? Or would you feel comfortable on a bridge designed by an engineer who cheated her
way through engineering school. Would you trust your tax return to an accountant who copied his
exam answers from his neighbor?
Those are easy examples, but what difference does it make if you as a student or I as a faculty member
violate the principles of academic integrity in a political science course, especially if it’s not in your
major?
For me, the answer is that integrity is important in this course precisely because integrity is important in
all areas of life. If we don’t have integrity in the small things, if we find it possible to justify plagiarism or
cheating or shoddy work in things that don’t seem important, how will we resist doing the same in areas
that really do matter, in areas where money might be at stake, or the possibility of advancement, or our
esteem in the eyes of others?
Personal integrity is not a quality we’re born to naturally. It’s a quality of character we need to nurture,
and this requires practice in both meanings of that word (as in practice the piano and practice a
profession). We can only be a person of integrity if we practice it every day.
What does that involve for each of us in this course? Let’s find out by going through each stage in the
course. As you’ll see, academic integrity basically requires the same things of you as a student as it
requires of me as a teacher.
I. Preparation for Class
What Academic Integrity Requires of Me in This Area
With regard to coming prepared for class, the principles of academic integrity require that I come having
done the things necessary to make the class a worthwhile educational experience for you. This requires
that I:
reread the text (even when I’ve written it myself),
clarify information I might not be clear about,
prepare the class with an eye toward what is current today (that is, not simply rely on past
notes), and
plan the session so that it will make it worth your while to be there.

Problem statement: High and continuously rising cost of health care has been and still is one of
the biggest challenges affecting the Health Care system in United States.
Methods of Examining the Problem
Both qualitative and quantitative research methods should be used to fully understand the
issue of high cost of care in the US. Quantitative methods like surveys and experimentations will
aid in estimating the prevalence, magnitude and frequency of the problem in different regions.
On the other hand, qualitative methods like case studies and observation will help describe the
extent and complexity of the issue. The two approaches need to work in complementation to
obtain a clear understanding of this menace.
Surveys, as a quantitative research method, is one of the most effective in the social
research and present a more viable method of examining the cost of health in the country. They
involve asking of questions in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires are
written questions to which the response can be open ended or multiple-choice format. This
would be used to gain information about cost within determinants that are of
disagree/neutral/agree nature. An example is if patients are contented with the cost of services
they get or they deem the cost of cover worthy. Interviews, the researcher discussing issues with
the respondents, are to be used to gain more details on already known aspects of the system. This
may include gathering information to inform policies, administration and use of technology to
minimize the cost of care.

Congressional Research Service was used to predicts that, if tax cap is not removed, there will be a permanent increase of tax rate from 12.4% to 15.1% which would hurt people making less than the current tax cap currently at $132,900 or, cutting benefits by 20% in 2035 and continuously rising every year.
In as much as the author makes a good point on the percentage of rich people that donated to campaign, the author failed to state how much the rich get in payroll tax cap since that is a major part of the authors argument. The authors failed to indicate how an increase in tax rate would affect people making less than the current tax cap which is $132,900. To sum it up, the author failed to expand and give more numeric evidence to support the argument.
In addition, to provide a guideline in eliminating payroll tax cap, the author suggested a bill introduced by Bernie Sanders called, Keeping Our Social Security Promises Act. The bill according to the author seeks to remove the cap placed on payroll taxes. The author further stated the bill will help Solvency to expand for 75 years without increasing taxes for those who earn less than $250,000, the only people who will see a change are those earn more than $250,000. According to the Congressional Research Service as stated by the author, removing the cap would eliminate 84% of the projected shortfall. According to Ancillary Care Services (ACS), a subsidiary of American Care Source Holdings Incorporated, ancillary services refers to the wide range of healthcare services provided to support the work of a primary physician. These services can be in three categories: diagnostic, therapeutic, and custodial.
Diagnostic services include laboratory tests, radiology, genetic testing, diagnostic imaging, and more.
Therapeutic services range from rehabilitation to physical and occupational therapy, as well as massage, chiropractic services, and speech therapy.
Custodial services include everything from hospice care and long-term acute care to nursing facilities and urgent care.
The way that health care services offered in rural and urban areas differ according to the research conducted included minority data between the two ranges from Medical Expenditure Panel Surveys from the years of 2005 to 2010; geographic information from the American Community Surveys of 2005 to 2009; and Area Health Resource Files from 2010 with discrepancies to the access of health care. “They concluded that rural status confers additional disadvantage for most of the health care use measures, independently of poverty and health care supply – in rural areas, common explanations for racial/ethnic disparities in access to health care include that a greater proportion of African Americans and Hispanics live in areas with fewer collective resources, higher rates of poverty, and lower levels of health care supply." (Caldwell et. al, 2016)
Some disadvantages that patients in rural areas encounter mainly generalize around being geographically isolated, especially for African Americans and Hispanics who inhabit these areas. “The isolation of rural areas leaves people needing to travel farther for health care and facing difficulties accessing transportation. Regardless of place, historical legacies of racial oppression and subjection may also perpetuate the stigma of racial/ ethnic minorities and new 'outsider' groups. These experiences may present barriers within and outside the health care system. Another disadvantage would be maldistribution. It is hard to achieve health care coverage for the uninsured but also for addressing indistinctly linked workforce problems such as shortages and skill imbalances. Often the problem may not be the absolute number of workers, but the type of workers trained and their job location. National shortages often may be juxtaposed with rural vacancies and urban unemployment.” (Chen, 2010)

Here at the beginning of the semester I want to say something to you about academic integrity.[2]
I’m deeply convinced that integrity is an essential part of any true educational experience, integrity on
my part as a faculty member and integrity on your part as a student.
To take an easy example, would you want to be operated on by a doctor who cheated his way through
medical school? Or would you feel comfortable on a bridge designed by an engineer who cheated her
way through engineering school. Would you trust your tax return to an accountant who copied his
exam answers from his neighbor?
Those are easy examples, but what difference does it make if you as a student or I as a faculty member
violate the principles of academic integrity in a political science course, especially if it’s not in your
major?
For me, the answer is that integrity is important in this course precisely because integrity is important in
all areas of life. If we don’t have integrity in the small things, if we find it possible to justify plagiarism or
cheating or shoddy work in things that don’t seem important, how will we resist doing the same in areas
that really do matter, in areas where money might be at stake, or the possibility of advancement, or our
esteem in the eyes of others?
Personal integrity is not a quality we’re born to naturally. It’s a quality of character we need to nurture,
and this requires practice in both meanings of that word (as in practice the piano and practice a
profession). We can only be a person of integrity if we practice it every day.
What does that involve for each of us in this course? Let’s find out by going through each stage in the
course. As you’ll see, academic integrity basically requires the same things of you as a student as it
requires of me as a teacher.
I. Preparation for Class
What Academic Integrity Requires of Me in This Area
With regard to coming prepared for class, the principles of academic integrity require that I come having
done the things necessary to make the class a worthwhile educational experience for you. This requires
that I:
reread the text (even when I’ve written it myself),
clarify information I might not be clear about,
prepare the class with an eye toward what is current today (that is, not simply rely on past
notes), and
plan the session so that it will make it worth your while to be there.
What Academic Integrity Requires of You in This Area
With regard to coming prepared for class, the principles of academic integrity suggest that you have a
responsibility to yourself, to me, and to the other students to do the things necessary to put yourself in
a position to make fruitful contributions to class discussion. This will require you to:

This article also explained the definition of MIS, various types of MIS, and the effectiveness of MIS which helped me to better understand what management information system is and why it is important.

In my PA 1 paper, I will identify some research areas in management information system. Business intelligence mentioned in this article is one of the research areas that I will identify in my paper. I will use the information in this article to discuss the benefit for the organization to use the business intelligent decision-making systems such as increasing the productivity.

Knowledge-based information systems are dynamic where it was developed designed and program during the of training and learning. From the experience and knowledge, they gained from training, they could differentiate patterns, handwritten symbols, word recognition, forecasting, and other applications especially in business and finance area.

Organization should use knowledge-based information systems in decision-making process. Create frameworks that can utilize modern information technology applications at differed administrative levels. Take advantages of benefits provided by the existing knowledge-based information systems in terms of effort, time and money and to be able to adapt to the conditions and environmental changes
