  • 14. 14 CONCLUSIONS - LIMITATIONS • Our alumni destinations are shifted from academia towards industry. • Increasing opportunities and exposure correlate with different career destinations. • The programme alumni data are mainly collected through individual LinkedIn profiles, whereas Institution/sector data are from HESA.
  • 15. 15 QUESTIONS • Are the enterprise/industry opportunities causing the career shift? • Should we do more to expose the students to academic careers? • Should we do more to expose the students to non-academic careers? • How can we help students to make the right career choice for them?
