This study examined factors affecting mathematics performance of 126 students at Laguna State Polytechnic University. A questionnaire was used to determine the extent of student factors like interest and study habits, and teacher factors like personality, teaching skills, and materials. Statistical analysis found no significant relationship between student or teacher factors and mathematics performance. The researcher concluded there was no relationship between these variables and student performance. Recommendations included more comprehensive future studies.
