Sometimes life is not what we expect. Difficult and unexpected
circumstances can arise such as being absent from a loved
one. You’re not on your own as Absent is here to help. We have
created a safe and secure place where users can use the app
as their personal story vault. This would allow you and family
members to create a personal time line by either posting
videos, photographs or messages whether it be on specific
occasions or when you feel the need to share something. We
also offer information and support via our online community,
you really aren’t in this alone.

Anyone can become a missing person
either voluntarily or in some cases
involuntarily. Understanding the
reasons why people go missing can be
very traumatic for the family, friends
and associates left behind. With this in
mind Absent is here for everyone who
is left present in their absence.

this number rises to 221,644 people and within 20 years this
again increases dramatically to 4,432,880.

What is parent alienation?
Parental alienation effects millions of
families around the world. Its effect can be
devastating and it’s result influences many
of our social and cultural systems. There are
circumstances where a child would need
protecting from a violent or irresponsible
parent. We advocate the safety and respect
of all people first and foremost. However,
these two issues are different and should not
be classed as the same. Our aim is to raise
awareness and help people understand the
effects and results of Parental alienation.

increased 78% in the last 8 years. The statistics state that
in the last 2 years suicide outranked war, cancer, heart
disease, homicide.

means there is the suffering of a loss
without any closure. This type of loss
has the same devastating effect as a
bereavement. The constant strain of
living with uncertainty takes a large
