 Reduced PPM For Machining Defects From 17225 to 5476 also Sigma Level has been increased to 4.88
from 4.5
 Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduced. So the productivity is improved. More production leads to higher
productivity.
 Finally Customer satisfaction is achieved by providing the products and service of right quality, at right
quantity at the right time, fulfilling customers. The Six Sigma practice definitely enhanced the customer
satisfaction.

rejection rate of Machining defects in the cylinder block of Bajaj and improve the Productivity of product by
using appropriate qualitative and quantitative tools in different phases of the DMAIC methodology. This
project methodology can be used in general to reduce process variation and Defects for any other
manufacturing processes as well, which will help in improving customer satisfaction.
