18. P aradox (dramatic) [ When the reader of the story understands more than the character ] I believe it is a paradox when Mrs.Collis is explaining she thinks he can be cured. As informed readers, we know that Cerebral Palsy has no cure.
19. Q uassation [ The act of shaking ] When Christy would try to control his hands to write his novels they would not be steady enough or responsive to work well enough to accomplish anything..
20. R ebarbati v e [ repulsive ] When Christy is young during the beginning of the novel he looks into the mirror and hates what he sees. And vows not to look again saying he is a monster.
