All creation is a source of learning. The one who directly or indirectly teaches is known in Sanskrit as Guru. All gurus teach knowledge relating to the objective world and its contents. A Sat-Guru is the one who has mastered the knowledge of the subject - the Self and lives while practically imbibing that knowledge.
