Rural Tamil medium students face many problems after getting admission in Professional Engineering Colleges. Their problems were of academic, social, cultural and emotional in nature. The intensity of their worries varies from person to person and their ability to adjust to the new demands. Through a well framed questionnaire, information from rural Tamil medium students studying in professional engineering colleges located within Chennai was collected and studied using CETD Matrix.The solution obtained as a column matrix gives the associated number which is transformed into graph. The graphs depict the highest group of students who are considered to slow learners.

With the emergence of virtualization and cloud computing technologies, several services are housed on virtualization platform. Virtualization is the technology that many cloud service providers rely on for efficient management and coordination of the resource pool. As essential services are also housed on cloud platform, it is necessary to ensure continuous availability by implementing all necessary measures. Windows Active Directory is one such service that Microsoft developed for Windows domain networks. It is included in Windows Server operating systems as a set of processes and services for authentication and authorization of users and computers in a Windows domain type network. The service is required to run continuously without downtime. As a result, there are chances of accumulation of errors or garbage leading to software aging which in turn may lead to system failure and associated consequences. This results in software aging. In this work, software aging patterns of Windows active directory service is studied. Software aging of active directory needs to be predicted properly so that rejuvenation can be triggered to ensure continuous service delivery. In order to predict the accurate time, a model that uses time series forecasting technique is built.

The present study focuses on Computer Functional Literacy of Higher Secondary School students. Computers are continuously being applied to new careers and used in innovative field all the occasion. The skill not only to use computers, but to adapt to progress and added changes in computing technology is essential to any professional-minded person. This ability to apply old information to latest milieu not just allows for the use of computers but can enhance productivity and even pleasure in one's work. This study steps to truly make aware the students for a computer intensive future and this study results revealed that computer functional literacy of higher secondary school students is in moderate level. Normative survey method was used in the present study and Random sampling technique was used. Variables such as types of management, medium of instruction, computer knowledge and locality of the students are significantly differ in this study. Ensemble of classifiers increases the performance of the classification since the decision of many experts are fused together to generate the resultant decision for prediction making. Deep learning is a classification algorithm where along with the basic learning technique, fine tuning learning is done for improved precision of learning. Deep classifier ensemble learning is having a good scope of research.Feature subset selection is another for creating individual classifiers to be fused for ensemble learning. All these ensemble techniques faces ill posed problem of overfitting. Regularized weighted ensemble of deep support vector machine performs the prediction analysis on the three UCI repository problems IRIS,Ionosphere and Seed data set, thereby increasing the generalization of the boundary plot between the classes of the data set. The singular value decomposition reduced norm 2 regularization with the two level deep classifier ensemble gives the best result in our experiments.

Migration of any kind creates social exclusion in society, leading to inability to participate in economic, social, and cultural life, and in some characteristics, alienation and distance from mainstream society. Migration of students is one the burning social issues today, which finally affects the academic progress and level of performance of the students.The main purpose of this paper is to suggest practical implementation of Sen's capability approach that is able to preserve its interpretative reality and methodological problems that couldn't find an operative solution in more standard approaches to migrated students and their socio-economic well-being analysis. A strategy based on fuzzy sets theory has been suggested to analyze why this kind of approach could be useful for dealing with the complexity of a multidimensional assessment of well-being. According to statistics, more than 90 of Chinese universities have offered advanced mathematics for liberal arts students as a general course since 2003 to cultivate their scientific literacy and problem solving ability. This study aims to provide a feasible approach for liberal arts students to accept the value of mathematics and apply mathematical methods to academic research and real world problems solution. In the Applied Probability and Statistics class with the attendance of 154 liberal arts freshmen, this study is designed to discuss and value on the five mathematics application reports as examples. Then liberal arts students were interviewed on evaluating these 5 mathematics application reports. 28 mathematics application reports were completed by 154 students in groups and cooperation, which were analyzed on how mathematics was incorporated into their reports. The qualitative analysis of the interview results found that the discussion and evaluation of these 5 mathematics application reports about applying mathematics and solving social problems can stimulate liberal arts students' interest in mathematics and realize the value of mathematics application. Therefore, peer mathematics application is a way for liberal arts students to realize mathematics value. Through the classification analysis of the 28 mathematics application reports completed by the liberal arts students, their three forms of mathematics application can be summarized as follows applying the regularity of mathematical argument instead of the special case of the practice test in social cognition using data analysis to monitor the probabilities of plausible reasoning developing their applied mathematical ability to solve daily life problems. This study aims to analyze the mathematics success of students in Vocational Schools’ evening classes in terms of certain variables. For this purpose, personal information forms prepared by the researcher were used to collect the necessary information about the students. This information form contained such questions as the students’ gender, type of school they graduated from, name of program they are enrolled to and the type of their enrollment. The academic success points of the students were obtained from their relevant departments. The sample group of the study is 142 students attending the evening classes of Tatvan Vocational School of Bitlis Eren University. The research was applied in 2015-2016 academic year. The data collected were analyzed by ANOVA and t-Test methods. The findings revealed that the mathematics success of students admitted through the exam is higher than that of students enrolled through open admission (without exam) and that there is significant difference of students’ mathematics success depending on their gender, type of high school they graduated from and the program they are enrolled to.

This primary study uses of ICT in higher education, university teacher prospective analysis of categorical data using r programming tries to explore the satisfaction of ICT uses in higher education of university teacher on Prithvi Narayan campus Pokhara. The primary data were collected from February to March 2020. Although there was a large research gap in many researchers to analyze accurately if the variable is in categorical type. This research tries to meet the gap between the selection of appropriate tools for a categorical questionnaire survey of 32 university teachers. The satisfaction of teachers’ concepts regarding the use of ICT to enhance student educational quality had expressed on different Likert scale could be summarized with the count, 93 percent of university teacher was satisfied for ICT use in classroom teaching. The chi-square value p equal to 0.08 signifies there was not rejection evidence of avoiding the null hypothesis. Detection of software bugs and its occurrences, repudiation and its root cause is a very difficult process in large multi threaded applications. It is a must for a software developer or software organization to identify bugs in their applications and to remove or overcome them. The application should be protected from malfunctioning. Many of the compilers and Integrated Development Environments are effectively identifying errors and bugs in applications while running or compiling, but they fail in detecting actual cause for the bugs in the running applications. The developer has to reframe or recreate the package with the new one without bugs. It is time consuming and effort is wasted in Software Development Life Cycle. There is a possibility to use graph mining techniques in detecting software bugs. But there are many problems in using graph mining techniques. Managing large graph data, processing nodes with links and processing subgraphs are the problems to be faced in graph mining approach. This paper presents a novel algorithm named BugLoc which is capable of detecting bugs from the multi threaded software application. The BugLoc uses object template to store graph data which reduces graph management complexities. It also uses substring analysis method in detecting frequent subgraphs. The BugLoc then analyses frequent subgraphs to detect exact location of the software bugs. The experimental results show that the algorithm is very efficient, accurate and scalable for large graph dataset.

The detection of moving object is an important in many applications such as a vehicle identification in a traffic monitoring system,human detection in a crime branch.In this paper we identify a vehicle in a video sequence.This paper briefly explain the detection of moving vehicle in a video.We introduce a new algorithm BGS for idntifying vehicle in a video sequence. First, we differentiate the foreground from background in frames by learning the background. Then, the image is divided into many small nonoverlapped frames. The candidates of the vehicle part can be found from the frames if there is some change in gray level between the current image and the background. The extracted background subtraction method is used in subsequent analysis to detect a vehicle and classify moving vehicle.

This paper presents an implementation of one dimensional Burgers equation using implicit method with Intel Xeon Phi Coprocessor. In particular, we used MAGMA MIC library which is an open source high performance library for solving a systems of non-linear equations. Further for high performance computation we consider offload mode as the primary mode of operation for Intel Xeon phi coprocessor. The result obtained from implicit scheme is then compared with the exact values and it’s seen that the results obtained are approximate and reliable. The result table showed that the proposed scheme achieved higher performance on Intel MIC platform.

As a result of abnormal level of glucose in body leads to heart attack, kidney disease, renal failure, Hyperglycemia and also cancer in organs like liver and pancreas. Many studies have been proved that several types of heart diseases are possible in diabetic patients having a high blood sugar. Many approaches were proposed to diagnose both Diabetes and heart diseases. Most of the diabetes people can also have heart diseases called as Diabetic Cardiomyopathy. The earliest manifestation of diabetic cardiomyopathy is needed certain processes. The objective of the study is to examine the association of heart disease and diabetes. The relationship between diabetes and cardiovascular diseases are examined by taking into account of age, sex and associated diabetic and cardiovascular risk factors. The data are collected from patients with diabetes. From these data, features are selected by ant colony optimization and those selected features are given to hybrid PSO-LIBSVM to classify abnormal and normal data. This performance is evaluated using performance metrics and proved this classifiers efficiency for detection of Diabetic Cardiomyopathy.

Cryptography is important in communicating secured information that is vulnerable to distortion. The main goal of this paper is encrypting the small arbitrary length data without any changes in the length and data type. We propose a flexible arbitrary length small domain block cipher (FPESD). FPESD is based on AES Algorithm. The resulting cipher text is the same as input plaintext. Here, we use Galois finite field GF (28) and format preserving key to implement FPE. For decryption format preserving key is used along with cipher text and secret key.

Test Suite Reduction is an optimization technique to identify the minimally sized subset of test cases with enforced constraints involved. The main purpose of test suite reduction is to deduce increased number of test cases that in turn increase the time and cost involved in execution. Fault Detection is the method of identifying the faults that affect the outcome of the system either logically or syntactically. This paper focuses on the reduction of the test suite that has high fault identification rates and also incurs low cost of execution of test cases. The proposed approach includes a new parameter Fault Detection Effectiveness to identify fault rates of test suite; an algorithm for test suite reduction based on priority of requirements; a low cost framework to identify the execution of test cases with minimum budget. Thus, the proposed work defines a test suite that has high fault detection effectiveness providing maximum coverage to requirements at minimum cost of execution.

As the e-commerce is gaining popularity various customer surveys of objects are currently accessible on the Internet. These surveys are frequently disordered, prompting challenges in knowledge discovery and object assessment. This article proposes an object feature positioning skeleton, which consequently recognizes the critical features of an object from online customer surveys. The critical object features are recognized focused around two perceptions: 1) they are normally commented extensively by customers and 2) customer suppositions on the critical feature significantly impact their general assessments on the object. Specifically, given the customer surveys of an item, we first extract the object feature by a shallow reliance parser and focus customer suppositions on these features through an opinion characterizer. We then create a probabilistic object feature positioning calculation to identify the criticalness of perspectives by at the same time considering feature recurrence and the impact of customer opinion given to every feature over their general opinion. The experimental results on 3 popular products demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.

The integrity of data stored in the cloud is one of the challenges to be addressed before the novel storage model is applied widely. This paper analyses the efficiency issues and security dodge of an existing scheme and proposes an amended data integrity scheme using improved RSA and number theory based concept for cloud archive. This scheme of protecting the integrity of guest virtual machines can be agreed upon by both the cloud and the customer and can be incorporated in the service level agreement (SLA).Based onhypothetical analysis, we demonstrate that the proposedscheme has a provably safe and highly adroit dataintegrity inspection measure.

So damage to subthalamiuc nucleus (STN) neurons of the human brain causing larger involuntary movements and thereby attacking the Parkinson’s disease (PD). Deep brain stimulation (DBS) of bilateral sub thalamic nuclei (STN) is an efficient method of rehabilitation technique in subjects with advanced idiopathic Parkinson’s (or Parkinson) disease. Accurate targeting of STN neurons and placement of microelectrodes/ (neurosensors) are paramount importance for optimal results after STN-DBS method.In this paper, microminiaturized electrode recordings (MER) of STN neurons were detected in a mean of 3.5 ±1.1 channels on right hemisphere and 3.6 ±1.04 on left hemisphere.Final channel selected were most commonly central seen in 42.3% followed by anterior in 33.7%. The MER of STN neurons has identified a specific high frequency irregular larger amplitude firing patterns seen only in disease states and hence used to detect the neurons of ST nucleus during functional surgery. Microelectrode recording is so useful to confirm the right path but has to be taken in consideration with effects on macro stimulation.

The high-resolution interferometric data reveal an elongated 12CO(2–1) feature previously observed at lower resolution in 12CO(3–2). Kinematic modeling indicates that this feature can be interpreted as an accretion streamer feeding the binary system. The mass infall rate provided by the streamer is significantly lower than the typical stellar accretion rates (even in quiescent states), suggesting that this streamer alone is not massive enough to sustain the enhanced accretion rates characteristic of the outbursting class prototype. The observed streamer may not be directly linked to the current outburst, but rather a remnant of a previous, more massive streamer that may have contributed enough to the disk mass to render it unstable and trigger the FU Orionis outburst. The new data detect, for the first time, a vast, slow-moving carbon monoxide molecular outflow emerging from this object. To accurately assess the outflow properties (mass, momentum, and kinetic energy), we employ 13CO(2–1) data to correct for optical depth effects. The analysis indicates that the outflow corresponds to swept-up material not associated with the current outburst, similar to the slow molecular outflows observed around other FUor and Class I protostellar objects.

Theoretical predictions and observational data indicate a class of sub-Neptune exoplanets may have water-rich interiors covered by hydrogen-dominated atmospheres. Provided suitable climate conditions, such planets could host surface liquid oceans. Motivated by recent JWST observations of K2-18 b, we self-consistently model the photochemistry and potential detectability of biogenic sulfur gases in the atmospheres of temperate sub-Neptune waterworlds for the first time. On Earth today, organic sulfur compounds produced by marine biota are rapidly destroyed by photochemical processes before they can accumulate to significant levels. Domagal-Goldman et al. suggest that detectable biogenic sulfur signatures could emerge in Archean-like atmospheres with higher biological production or low UV flux. In this study, we explore biogenic sulfur across a wide range of biological fluxes and stellar UV environments. Critically, the main photochemical sinks are absent on the nightside of tidally locked planets. To address this, we further perform experiments with a 3D general circulation model and a 2D photochemical model (VULCAN 2D) to simulate the global distribution of biogenic gases to investigate their terminator concentrations as seen via transmission spectroscopy. Our models indicate that biogenic sulfur gases can rise to potentially detectable levels on hydrogen-rich water worlds, but only for enhanced global biosulfur flux (20 times modern Earth’s flux). We find that it is challenging to identify DMS at 3.4 μm where it strongly overlaps with CH4, whereas it is more plausible to detect DMS and companion byproducts, ethylene (C2H4) and ethane (C2H6), in the mid-infrared between 9 and 13 μm.
