IMPACTS OF JUCVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM ON AFRICAN AMERICAN ADOLESCENT 7
Impacts of Juvenile Justice Systems for African Americans Adolescents.
The study on juvenile systems focuses on African American adolescents as they are the majority in the juvenile systems. Much research has been done focusing on why most blacks are in the juvenile and prison systems. The question boils down to racial injustices and many other factors. However, this study focuses on the impacts of juvenile systems on African Americans. Therefore, it is vital to understand the effects of juvenile systems on African American youths focusing on behavioral changes and widespread health impacts by comparing the detained and released juveniles to those never arrested. It is essential to understand behavioral changes among adolescents since they stay together at the school level, and deviant behaviors may harm themselves or even teachers. Study shows that African American youths are involved in higher juvenile cases than any other race (Voisin et al., 2016). Other studies relate societal aspects that push African American youths to deviant behaviors such as taking marijuana, drugs, and other harmful societal acts such as commercial sex (Voisin et al., 2016) (Voisin et al., 2016). Juvenile systems focus on changing youths' behaviors but do they also negatively impact youth’s behavior?
Purpose Statement
The study will help understand factors in the juvenile systems that cause behavioral changes among convicted youth. Thus, an ideal comprehension of the relationship between juvenile justice systems and their role in changing youth behaviors will help identify correct interventions to impact convicted youths and create a better future society positively.
Theoretical Framework and Hypothesis
The study focuses on African American adolescents by comparing blacks adolescents exposed to juvenile systems and those not yet convicted. By focusing on their behavioral differences, the study aims to show the role of juvenile systems in the well-being of adolescents. Do the juvenile systems have a positive role in adolescent behavior, or do they still show deviant behaviors even after release from juvenile systems?. The questions raise concerns about the part of juveniles in society. Besides, other researches focus on social determinants of behavioral changes such as environment, income, and family status where adolescents reside. It is vital to understand whether African American adolescents acquire their behaviors from the societal environment or the ineffective juvenile systems that determine their behavioral changes. Thus the study develops two hypotheses:
H1: Adolescents are mentally affected with juvenile systems programs as they show repetitive deviant behaviors after release.
H2: Socio-economic factors are a great contributor to deviant behaviors seen in African American youths.
Numerous studies have focused on why juvenile systems have more African American youths than othe ...

BROAD UNEXPOSED SKILLS OF TRANSGENDER ENTREPRENEURSIAEME Publication
Since ages gender difference is always a debatable theme whether caused by nature, evolution or environment. The birth of a transgender is dreadful not only for the child but also for their parents. The pain of living in the wrong physique and treated as second class victimized citizen is outrageous and fully harboured with vicious baseless negative scruples. For so long, social exclusion had perpetuated inequality and deprivation experiencing ingrained malign stigma and besieged victims of crime or violence across their life spans. They are pushed into the murky way of life with a source of eternal disgust, bereft sexual potency and perennial fear. Although they are highly visible but very little is known about them. The common public needs to comprehend the ravaged arrogance on these insensitive souls and assist in integrating them into the mainstream by offering equal opportunity, treat with humanity and respect their dignity. Entrepreneurship in the current age is endorsing the gender fairness movement. Unstable careers and economic inadequacy had inclined one of the gender variant people called Transgender to become entrepreneurs. These tiny budding entrepreneurs resulted in economic transition by means of employment, free from the clutches of stereotype jobs, raised standard of living and handful of financial empowerment. Besides all these inhibitions, they were able to witness a platform for skill set development that ignited them to enter into entrepreneurial domain. This paper epitomizes skill sets involved in trans-entrepreneurs of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State and is a groundbreaking determination to sightsee various skills incorporated and the impact on entrepreneurship.

VISUALISING AGING PARENTS & THEIR CLOSE CARERS LIFE JOURNEY IN AGING ECONOMYIAEME Publication
Our life journey, in general, is closely defined by the way we understand the meaning of why we coexist and deal with its challenges. As we develop the "inspiration economy", we could say that nearly all of the challenges we have faced are opportunities that help us to discover the rest of our journey. In this note paper, we explore how being faced with the opportunity of being a close carer for an aging parent with dementia brought intangible discoveries that changed our insight of the meaning of the rest of our life journey.
A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PERFO...IAEME Publication
The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of aspects of Organizational Culture on the Effectiveness of the Performance Management System (PMS) in the Health Care Organization at Thanjavur. Organizational Culture and PMS play a crucial role in present-day organizations in achieving their objectives. PMS needs employees’ cooperation to achieve its intended objectives. Employees' cooperation depends upon the organization’s culture. The present study uses exploratory research to examine the relationship between the Organization's culture and the Effectiveness of the Performance Management System. The study uses a Structured Questionnaire to collect the primary data. For this study, Thirty-six non-clinical employees were selected from twelve randomly selected Health Care organizations at Thanjavur. Thirty-two fully completed questionnaires were received.
Living in 21st century in itself reminds all of us the necessity of police and its administration. As more and more we are entering into the modern society and culture, the more we require the services of the so called ‘Khaki Worthy’ men i.e., the police personnel. Whether we talk of Indian police or the other nation’s police, they all have the same recognition as they have in India. But as already mentioned, their services and requirements are different after the like 26th November, 2008 incidents, where they without saving their own lives has sacrificed themselves without any hitch and without caring about their respective family members and wards. In other words, they are like our heroes and mentors who can guide us from the darkness of fear, militancy, corruption and other dark sides of life and so on. Now the question arises, if Gandhi would have been alive today, what would have been his reaction/opinion to the police and its functioning? Would he have some thing different in his mind now what he had been in his mind before the partition or would he be going to start some Satyagraha in the form of some improvement in the functioning of the police administration? Really these questions or rather night mares can come to any one’s mind, when there is too much confusion is prevailing in our minds, when there is too much corruption in the society and when the polices working is also in the questioning because of one or the other case throughout the India. It is matter of great concern that we have to thing over our administration and our practical approach because the police personals are also like us, they are part and parcel of our society and among one of us, so why we all are pin pointing towards them.
A STUDY ON TALENT MANAGEMENT AND ITS IMPACT ON EMPLOYEE RETENTION IN SELECTED...IAEME Publication
The goal of this study was to see how talent management affected employee retention in the selected IT organizations in Chennai. The fundamental issue was the difficulty to attract, hire, and retain talented personnel who perform well and the gap between supply and demand of talent acquisition and retaining them within the firms. The study's main goals were to determine the impact of talent management on employee retention in IT companies in Chennai, investigate talent management strategies that IT companies could use to improve talent acquisition, performance management, career planning and formulate retention strategies that the IT firms could use. The respondents were given a structured close-ended questionnaire with the 5 Point Likert Scale as part of the study's quantitative research design. The target population consisted of 289 IT professionals. The questionnaires were distributed and collected by the researcher directly. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to collect and analyse the questionnaire responses. Hypotheses that were formulated for the various areas of the study were tested using a variety of statistical tests. The key findings of the study suggested that talent management had an impact on employee retention. The studies also found that there is a clear link between the implementation of talent management and retention measures. Management should provide enough training and development for employees, clarify job responsibilities, provide adequate remuneration packages, and recognise employees for exceptional performance.
ATTRITION IN THE IT INDUSTRY DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC: LINKING EMOTIONAL INTE...IAEME Publication
Globally, Millions of dollars were spent by the organizations for employing skilled Information Technology (IT) professionals. It is costly to replace unskilled employees with IT professionals possessing technical skills and competencies that aid in interconnecting the business processes. The organization’s employment tactics were forced to alter by globalization along with technological innovations as they consistently diminish to remain lean, outsource to concentrate on core competencies along with restructuring/reallocate personnel to gather efficiency. As other jobs, organizations or professions have become reasonably more appropriate in a shifting employment landscape, the above alterations trigger both involuntary as well as voluntary turnover. The employee view on jobs is also afflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic along with the employee-driven labour market. So, having effective strategies is necessary to tackle the withdrawal rate of employees. By associating Emotional Intelligence (EI) along with Talent Management (TM) in the IT industry, the rise in attrition rate was analyzed in this study. Only 303 respondents were collected out of 350 participants to whom questionnaires were distributed. From the employees of IT organizations located in Bangalore (India), the data were congregated. A simple random sampling methodology was employed to congregate data as of the respondents. Generating the hypothesis along with testing is eventuated. The effect of EI and TM along with regression analysis between TM and EI was analyzed. The outcomes indicated that employee and Organizational Performance (OP) were elevated by effective EI along with TM.
INFLUENCE OF TALENT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE A STUD...IAEME Publication
By implementing talent management strategy, organizations would have the option to retain their skilled professionals while additionally working on their overall performance. It is the course of appropriately utilizing the ideal individuals, setting them up for future top positions, exploring and dealing with their performance, and holding them back from leaving the organization. It is employee performance that determines the success of every organization. The firm quickly obtains an upper hand over its rivals in the event that its employees having particular skills that cannot be duplicated by the competitors. Thus, firms are centred on creating successful talent management practices and processes to deal with the unique human resources. Firms are additionally endeavouring to keep their top/key staff since on the off chance that they leave; the whole store of information leaves the firm's hands. The study's objective was to determine the impact of talent management on organizational performance among the selected IT organizations in Chennai. The study recommends that talent management limitedly affects performance. On the off chance that this talent is appropriately management and implemented properly, organizations might benefit as much as possible from their maintained assets to support development and productivity, both monetarily and non-monetarily.
A STUDY OF VARIOUS TYPES OF LOANS OF SELECTED PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR BANKS...IAEME Publication
Banking regulations act of India, 1949 defines banking as “acceptance of deposits for the purpose of lending or investment from the public, repayment on demand or otherwise and withdrawable through cheques, drafts order or otherwise”, the major participants of the Indian financial system are commercial banks, the financial institution encompassing term lending institutions. Investments institutions, specialized financial institution and the state level development banks, non banking financial companies (NBFC) and other market intermediaries such has the stock brokers and money lenders are among the oldest of the certain variants of NBFC and the oldest market participants. The asset quality of banks is one of the most important indicators of their financial health. The Indian banking sector has been facing severe problems of increasing Non- Performing Assets (NPAs). The NPAs growth directly and indirectly affects the quality of assets and profitability of banks. It also shows the efficiency of banks credit risk management and the recovery effectiveness. NPA do not generate any income, whereas, the bank is required to make provisions for such as assets that why is a double edge weapon. This paper outlines the concept of quality of bank loans of different types like Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of selected public and private sector banks. This study is highlighting problems associated with the role of commercial bank in financing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME). The overall objective of the research was to assess the effect of the financing provisions existing for the setting up and operations of MSMEs in the country and to generate recommendations for more robust financing mechanisms for successful operation of the MSMEs, in turn understanding the impact of MSME loans on financial institutions due to NPA. There are many research conducted on the topic of Non- Performing Assets (NPA) Management, concerning particular bank, comparative study of public and private banks etc. In this paper the researcher is considering the aggregate data of selected public sector and private sector banks and attempts to compare the NPA of Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of public and private sector banks. The tools used in the study are average and Anova test and variance. The findings reveal that NPA is common problem for both public and private sector banks and is associated with all types of loans either that is housing loans, agriculture loans and loans to SMES. NPAs of both public and private sector banks show the increasing trend. In 2010-11 GNPA of public and private sector were at same level it was 2% but after 2010-11 it increased in many fold and at present there is GNPA in some more than 15%. It shows the dark area of Indian banking sector.

ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIA - PROBLEMS AND ...IAEME Publication
The majority of the population in India lives in villages. The village is the back bone of the country. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Developing the rural economy is one of the key indicators towards a country’s success. Whether it be the need to look after the welfare of the farmers or invest in rural infrastructure, Governments have to ensure that rural development isn’t compromised. The economic development of our country largely depends on the progress of rural areas and the standard of living of rural masses. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Rural entrepreneurship is based on stimulating local entrepreneurial talent and the subsequent growth of indigenous enterprises. It recognizes opportunity in the rural areas and accelerates a unique blend of resources either inside or outside of agriculture. Rural entrepreneurship brings an economic value to the rural sector by creating new methods of production, new markets, new products and generate employment opportunities thereby ensuring continuous rural development. Social Entrepreneurship has the direct and primary objective of serving the society along with the earning profits. So, social entrepreneurship is different from the economic entrepreneurship as its basic objective is not to earn profits but for providing innovative solutions to meet the society needs which are not taken care by majority of the entrepreneurs as they are in the business for profit making as a sole objective. So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. Indian government has made some steps towards development of social enterprises, social entrepreneurship, and social in- novation, but a lot remains to be improved.
OPTIMAL RECONFIGURATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTION RADIAL NETWORK USING HYBRID MET...IAEME Publication
Distribution system is a critical link between the electric power distributor and the consumers. Most of the distribution networks commonly used by the electric utility is the radial distribution network. However in this type of network, it has technical issues such as enormous power losses which affect the quality of the supply. Nowadays, the introduction of Distributed Generation (DG) units in the system help improve and support the voltage profile of the network as well as the performance of the system components through power loss mitigation. In this study network reconfiguration was done using two meta-heuristic algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance power quality and voltage profile in the system when simultaneously applied with the DG units. Backward/Forward Sweep Method was used in the load flow analysis and simulated using the MATLAB program. Five cases were considered in the Reconfiguration based on the contribution of DG units. The proposed method was tested using IEEE 33 bus system. Based on the results, there was a voltage profile improvement in the system from 0.9038 p.u. to 0.9594 p.u.. The integration of DG in the network also reduced power losses from 210.98 kW to 69.3963 kW. Simulated results are drawn to show the performance of each case.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

2. A Study on Quality of Life of Women in Thanjavur District
http://www.iaeme.com/IJM/index.asp 2268 editor@iaeme.com
1. INTRODUCTION
Women are multiply disadvantaged through their status as women and majority numbers as
persons living in poverty. Much of the discrimination experienced by differently abled women
is based on an implicit notion that they are not the same as other women and cannot be expected
to share the same rights and aspirations. The isolation and exclusion of women even extends to
mainstream women and women’s movements, which deny them their rights and identity.
Isolation and confinement based on culture and traditions, attitudes and prejudices often
affected women more than men. This isolation of women leads to low self-esteem and negative
feelings. Lack of appropriate support services and lack of adequate education result in low
economic status, which, in turn, creates dependency on families or care-givers. Some societies
go so far as to assign fault to a mother who gives birth to a disabled child. Women and men can
experience different kinds of attitudes based on gender discrimination. While men are still seen
as the major bread-winners and leaders of society, a man, considered "less of a man", won’t
conform to that stereotype.
There are a number of governmental and non-governmental agencies working for the
welfare of the women. Due to greedy intermediaries and the various biases of the government
itself, the governmental agencies do not have as wide a reach as the NGOs. As a result, the
beneficiaries of governmental welfare projects are always subject to manipulation by mercenary
forces. Women come into the limelight mainly during election campaigns when candidates of
political parties view with each other in offering them tricycles and sewing machines.
Magazines and newspapers publish photos galore, showing these candidates posing with the
women, to emphasize the generosity of the political parties. Another main reason for the
regretful situation is that medical programmes are generally disease-oriented and not ability-
oriented. Consequently, life-threatening or “serious” conditions receive the most attention
while “natural” and “incidental” defects are to be endured with patience. Women being weaker
and the walking symbols of tolerance are made to bear the brunt of all these traditional notions.
A combined effort – more sensitivity, awareness, willingness, initiative - of women
themselves, the government and non government organizations, common people, media
personnel, law-makers and law-protectors, teachers, educators and trainers, can empower
women in true sense and ensure their societal mainstreaming. This research study would be
helpful to policy makers, government and Non-governmental organization for framing an
appropriate policy to improve the quality of life and retention of women into mainstream stream
of social life. This study was interested to concentrate on to identify the status and social
inclusion of women in Thanjavur district.
2. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
• To find out the level of awareness about abuse and harassment and acts/policies and
rights among women.
• To know about the problems faced by women.
• To identify the psycho-social problems of women.
• To assess the quality of life of women.
• To suggest the suitable measures for enhancing the quality of life of women.
3. A. Sivagami and S. Karpagam
http://www.iaeme.com/IJM/index.asp 2269 editor@iaeme.com
2.1. Hypotheses
• There is a significant association between the age of the respondents and their overall
level of perception towards psychosocial wellbeing.
• There is a significant variance among the educational qualification of the respondents
and their overall level of perception towards quality of life.
• There is a significant relationship between the age of the respondents and their overall
level of perception towards awareness and perception of women.
2.2. Universe and Sampling
The present descriptive study would be conducted in 16 blocks of Thanjavur district. The
universe consists of 1258 Women in Thanjavur District. The researcher select 10 women as a
sample from each block of Thanjavur District (N=160) through stratified disproportionate
random sampling method. The researcher would use primary method of data collection. The
research would use interview schedule for data collection, which includes three phases. In the
first phase, the researcher would administer interview schedule, which focuses on demographic
characteristics of the women through semi-structured and open ended individual questionnaire.
It also includes questions on the empowerment of women on decision making and social
inclusions and to find out the level of awareness on their rights, policies and welfare
programmes. The unique features of this research also constitute Ethnography, which is a
qualitative research method used to describe the marital status, emotional disturbance and
changes in social attitude. In the second phase the researcher would employ the technique of
structured focus groups to discussion on the issue of their rights, policies and welfare
programmes available for them. The researcher explores their problems through one-on-one
interviews, problem tree analysis and participatory rural appraisal analysis with the
respondents. The purpose of these techniques was to explore the issue of abuse related to
emotional and psychological domain of the respondents.
All statistical analyses would be done using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences
(SPSS), the following statistics test would be applied ‘Z’ test, chi-square test, and ANOVA,
which is clearly reveal the women have a devastating effect on quality of life of women with a
particularly negative effect on their marriage, educational attainment, employment and
emotional state. Women also have jeopardized their personal, family and social life.
3. RESEARCH DESIGN
The researcher adopted Descriptive Design for this study. Descriptive design is a fact finding
investigation with adequate interpretation. The researcher attempted this research design to
describe the socio-demographic profile of women and quality of life of women in Thanjavur
District. Hence, so as to analyze these aspects the researcher has used descriptive design for the
present study.
4. TOOLS OF DATA COLLECTION
The phenomena in which a researcher is interested must ultimately be translated into data that
can be analyzed. The most important and crucial aspect of any investigation is the collection of
information, which provides necessary data for the study. A tool is an instrument used to gather
the actual information desired by the researcher. It is developed scientifically to record the
precise quantity/quality of the phenomena under investigation. A valid and reliable data
collection instrument is considered important to yield high quality data. The study also further
aimed to find out the problems of women and quality of life of women was done to decide upon
the tools to be selected and developed for the present investigation undertaken by the researcher.

The table 1 experienced that it is quite surprising to find that 34.3 percent women do not
know what is meant by sexual harassment. The awareness level is very low. The level of
knowledge regarding abuse and sexual harassment is high among women (almost 65.7 percent).
Out of 59 percent women are experienced sexual abuse and harassment, 44.5 percent faced it
at work place and 26.5 percent in rehabilitation centers. The percentage of women who said
that they would protest if they face sexual harassment in future (28.2 percent) which is followed
by 23 percent will inform the family members regarding their abuse and harassment. A very
few percent of the women opined that cannot protest due to their economical conditions.
However, the data in the above table reveals that majority of the women have personal
experience of sexual harassment or any form of abuse. It is a known fact that women usually
do not disclose their experience of sexual abuse at home/public place/work place out of social
stigma, a sense of fear and lack of support from within the family. In case of women, the
situation is understandably much worse as most of such cases go unreported/undisclosed by the
victims.

low level of relationship with husband, 48.8 percent of the respondents had low level of
relationship with their children, half (52.2 percent) of the respondents had low level social
relationship and the overall psycho-social function of the women is low (55.9 percent). Similar
findings were found in previous study argues that women have historically faced stigma
associated with their gender. Stigmatization can affect access to care, and the ability to
communicate needs and have those needs understood, as well as the individual's quality of life.
High quality of care for people requires intimate links between the medical care system and the
social and vocational services sectors. As in other study on women explores the relation
between societal representations and the intimate relationships of women. The study confirmed
those views of people as incompetent and helpless intellectually challenged, super-capable and
a sexual; continue to influence the lives of women. Most of these stereotypes were encountered
by women suggesting that these categories are fairly universally applied.

This result corroborates the findings of previous study observed that a women had a devastating
effect on the quality of life of the women a particularly negative effect on their marriage,
educational attainment, employment and emotional state. Women also jeopardized their
personal, family and social life. More than half of the women were looked at negatively by
society. Women and girl children suffered more from negative attitudes than their male
counterparts, resulting in critical adverse effects on their psychological and social health. The

researcher suggests that a combination of educational, economic and intensive rehabilitative
measures should be implemented urgently to make them self-reliant. Collaborative
communication between professionals and parents, behavioural counseling, formation of a self-
help group, and comprehensive support to families will reduce their suffering. Special
employment programmes in the form of cottage industries could be implemented through local
government or by NGOs to rehabilitate them. Women had considerable devastating effect on
the marriage prospects of women with economically backward.

It is inferred from the table 6 that there is a significant association between age of the
respondents and various dimensions of psychosocial wellbeing of women such as psychological
symptoms, relationship with family, relationship with husband, relationship with children and
relationship with social. However there is a significant association between age of the
respondents and overall level of psycho-social well being of the women.

association between the age of the respondents and their overall level of perception towards
psychosocial wellbeing (2

6. SUGGESTIONS
• Governments at Local and National Level Prioritize women’s health issues in national
development and political agendas, and ensure that these are supported by appropriate
budget resources.
• Establish and/or support national bodies or institutions tasked with promoting and
monitoring progress made in women’s health and development.
• Promote good leadership through recognizing and rewarding local and national
achievers in the areas of women’s health and development.
• Encourage regional/multinational approaches for addressing common women’s health
challenges, such as girl child trafficking, female genital mutilation (FGM) and problems
related to geographical/environmental factors. Advocate for the essential resources
required to support the implementation of cost effective health interventions in member
countries.
• Ensure sociopolitical stability by being more proactive in wars and conflict within the
sub-region and developing robust regional protocols to protect and reduce the burden of
wars and conflicts on women and girls.
• Remove all restrictive policies and laws that limit women’s access to financial
resources, property and health care services (e.g. spousal consent for family planning,
comprehensive abortion care, spousal consent for loan acquisition and property).
Advocate, budget for and promote at national and local level social education
programmes that increase awareness of the negative health impacts of discrimination
against girls and women
• Women groups such as Self-Help Groups (SHGs) can be made accountable for utilizing
the credit and on time repayment through exercising peer pressure within the group.
• Access to credit leads to an increase in women’s say in decision making and overall
empowerment.
7. CONCLUSION
Women play a very good role in the development of economy and society. Woman is the leader,
planner of the family, the trainer, supplier of labour power and playing important role in the
development of agriculture, industry and service sector. But status of women is so poor and
incidence of poverty is more on woman only. Empowering women is the only solution for all
the problems. If woman is educated and empowered her potential power can be utilized for the
economic development. Empowerment aspect visualizes the full participation of people in the
decision making process that shapes their lives. The goal of inclusive growth and human
development cannot be achieved without the development and empowerment of women. The
government of India by passing timely acts and implementing rules and regulations trying to
empower the women. The effect of women employment on family and society is more evident
in situations where women possess higher levels of employment and income. The
empowerment of women employees is also higher when they are at high levels of employment.
No doubt, the government of India has many weapons too tight for women empowerment and
enhance their quality of life.
