anymore and it falls back to earth as rain, hail, sleet, or snow (The Water Cycle, 2009; Wilkinson,

an individual at the high end of dispositional pessimism might consider that the problem is too

My second hypothesis states that spatial bias will be apparent to both dispositional optimists and
pessimists when it comes to environmental attitudes. An individual will think environmental issues
will become harsher the further the distance expands, for evaluations now and in the future. My
third hypothesis is that dispositional pessimists will be more negative on temporal biases compared
to dispositional optimists. I also want to explore the correlation between environmental attitudes and

it! I always was in awe of mountain climbing, but before reading this book, I was uninformed of
what it is truly like to climb high altitude pitches, the ordeal the guides endure and the
mountaineering culture in general.

Just Like Old Times
Going to the State Fair crowded with people, walking around for hours, and on a hot day does not
sound like a fun day to me. Boy, I couldn't have been more wrong. Although the drive was not fun,
considering I just had shoulder surgery 6 days prior, it was an overall fun time.
My whole family planned to go to the Minnesota State Fair to see Carrie Underwood perform. Since
I have two brothers who no longer live at home, we are rarely all together, except holidays. All six
of my family members cramped into the same car felt like old times again. The trip to the fair
brought back old memories of road tripping to Florida, the Dakotas the West Coast and Yellowstone

I'm the type of guy who loves his cheese curds and various fried foods so the Minnesota State Fair
was perfect for me. We arrived at the fair a couple hours before the concert so we could get the
whole State Fair experience. The first thing we did when we got to the fair was eat some home–cut
French fries, then of course I had to have my cheese curds so we meandered through the sea of

last one (class size) is a leading argument about whether smaller class sizes are better than larger

Being A Cyber Security Professional
I had been a dental major until I suffered an accident in 2002. I needed the right index and the
middle fingers completely amputated, and I partially lost the thumb and the ring fingers. My parents'
inducement along with the proverb, "where there is a will, there is a way" gave me motivation in
crucial circumstances as I embarked on a changed educational direction; however, I graduated as a
computer engineer with a good degree. Moreover, two years ago, I had been diagnosed with
lymphoma cancer while I was at the beginning of the Security Technologies program at the
University of Minnesota. Again, parents and having my own family urged me to endure toward my
goal. These circumstances, let me think in a future secure work environment by obtaining a position
in the government agencies. Although my ambition to earn a master's degree is not unique, my keen
interest in being a cyber security professional is certain. Thus, the CyberCorps SFS will be a focal
point in my future career arrangement.
Graduating from St. Cloud State University, attaining security certifications, and attending
Information security conferences are the main goals in my next 4 year plan. First, graduating with a
master's program in Information Assurance with a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or better will
distinguish me among many jobs candidates. Furthermore, attaining certifications (Cisco Certified

Stacy Merkel is not only a bank's Internal Auditor, but also the coordinator of Network New Ulm
Youth program. Merkel graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She has
an Elementary Education major with a Math minor. Merkel joined Citizens Bank in January 2003 as
a Systems Operator/Bookkeeper and became the Bank's Auditor in 2006. She is a Certified
