In giving a chance of choosing, I took the English
Language Institute of king Abdul-Aziz university,
ELI, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as a place of my
training project

We conclude the obstacles as:
•Students couldn’t sustain their motivation, once the start
their daily presence at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
•The lecture duration is not less than three hours
•Students language is sort of weak one and needs more
practice

How did we reach to solutions?

The classes must being equipped with lot of group work
activities, and also the kind of activities that recommend
student's movements around the class

Teacher must give the students at least a five minuet break in
the middle of the class.

 Students need more English clubs such as, the reading circle,
speaking club, and drama club
 Teacher have to allocate a little bit space from the lecture-time ,
to be aided with language enhancements and developments
• Classifying exams, and answer sheets
• Typing dividers, and binders for coordinator's portfolios
• Inserting students' marks to the Excel sheet
• Paraphrasing and summarizing invigilators' final exam rules
paper , then produce it as a check list due to gaining an efficient
and effective usage of it
• Writing the (minuet list ) in a professional way

Suggestions for the ELI
It would be better if
• The student trainee has a teachers' equipments, e.g. an
office, and a computer
• The roles and the position of the trainee is applicable
to her schedule. Thus, the schedule turns to be suitable
to the student's work not the time.
• There is a weekly -trainees and coordinators- meeting.
