The commons area is the central hub of student activity at Westside High School. The school offers a diverse range of classes taught by great teachers, as well as many clubs and extracurricular activities from breakdancing to debate. Students have a variety of lunch options on campus like Chick-fil-A, Chinese food, and Papa John's. There are multiple transportation methods available to get to Westside in time for the day's activities, supported by helpful faculty.

A day in the life of westside
Westside High School has houses that students belong to for their four years. The main office is open from 7:30AM to 4:00PM and there are typical classrooms that seat around 35 students as well as computer labs. Students can eat lunch in the Laurie Bricker Commons & Courtyard or off-campus for juniors and seniors, and at Vendoland for everyone. The school has an auditorium, mini theatre, gym, football/soccer field, and the track is being redone.

There is also a free workshop for parents on coping with teen emotions on April 25th. The drama club is performing "The Lampshade" on April 25th during period 2 with tickets for $1.50. Due to bus cancellations, the Student Council has rescheduled Twin Day from Thursday and Friday to Tuesday March 4th. A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
