This document provides instructions for creating a simple 4-page leaflet template using a single A4 sheet of paper in Microsoft Word 2010. It describes how to set the page margins to narrow, orient the pages in landscape mode, add two columns, insert a page break to create the back page, and print double-sided by flipping on the short edge. The template can then be saved and used to add content to create the finished leaflet.

2. Open a new word document
Choose Page Layout tab and
from the Margins
options choose Narrow

3. Still on Page Layout tab
choose the Landscape
option

4. Choose two
columns to split
the page into
two areas

5. Choose the insert page
break option to create
the back page of your
leaflet

6. This is the front and back of the leaflet

8. Go to Print options and
choose Print on Both
Sides – Flip pages on
short edge

9. Save the blank template before you start adding your content
and creating the leaflet

10. A finished leaflet
